The adjustability is a plus, and the way the two halves lock together securely prevents the set screw from shifting in multiple directions. I installed it on a standard 1-3/8" door by bringing the pieces close together and routing a shallow groove in the bottom edge. The instructions specify a door thickness of 1.25–1.75 inches, but even with my 1.5-inch doors, the screws tended to punch through the material if not seated precisely. You may need to adjust the depth to avoid this issue. Lastly, the instruction manual isn’t the most intuitive; it relies on small images that require some interpretation, though it wasn’t too difficult to figure out with a little extra time. Despite these minor quirks, I highly recommend this product. It’s a sturdy and stylish addition to any closet, provided you account for the fit and hardware nuances.
