It is disappointing to hear of the challenging experience you encountered at a recent event. Although the event you are referring to was not a CCAT-hosted event, your feedback will be passed on to the organization that facilitated the event. The Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology, Inc. shares the same building with over 20 separate business entities who utilize our facilities. Be assured that your observations will be shared with the appropriate company.
CCAT consistently organizes and facilitates some of the most well-run and informative programs offered to the business community. We take great pride in running a highly-professional organization. We would appreciate your communicating this properly in your review, as this was not reflective of CCAT s business practices.
Quality presenters. The Center itself needs training and practice in planning and organization of meetings, especially registration and arranging comfortable seating for ALL people who have registered. There were not enough seats; some people had to stand for two hours. There were no handouts. Attendees had to go to each presenter to request a business card. One presenter had no cards, and others ran out.
CCAT was a great partner for the town of Clinton's technology department. They helped us upgrade our out of date systems to current technologies including network based storage, virtual servers with multi-site redundacy, fiber cross connections and cloud backup.
I attended a entrepreneurial meeting that was hosted by a group of small business owners that want to share information and Network. It was a rainy day but the activity and amount of information resources available inside was phenomenal.
Elliot Ginsberg runs a tight ship with a superb mission to advance technology in Connecticut for economic development purposes. CCAT's IT group provides a datacenter and access in support of municipal goals and thereby creates opportunities for municipal entry into IT, software, and advanced broadband services that would probably be otherwise out of reach at this stage of broadband development in this state.
I like the Connecticut Center for Technology because in my class we talked about using our hands in manufacturing skills and putting items together.
Great, location for, sundays mornings church service, community good schools, lots of parking.
