I am currently working for HSS Security, a very sharp, modern company with good pay. In stark contrast, I found CBI Security Services to be the most dishonest, lacks integrity and in their efforts to please a contract they have literally tossed out all ethics. I worked for them for 3 months and was fired because I received a flat tire-costing their new contract to buy a new tire, this per their own shift Sgt. If I hadn't left the State I would've blown the whistle at a state level.
Very professional services. They went above and beyond to help out with a security job last minute. They made sure they understood our needs and how they could enhance the safety of our hotel guests. We will use their services again for future events.
CBI is an awesome company that really has the family feel. I started with CBI back in 2006/2007 as a guard and a dispatcher. I loved every minute of it running the nights and weekend shift. I made so many close friendships and the job is easy as long as you paid attention to the training.They provide free training to all employees, and it's quality. The trainers are retired PD/SWAT, and military with a ton of real world experience and a ton of stories.
I left for ten years and came back in 2018. I love seeing the changes that the company is working on making. The Administration work exceptionally hard to make sure the business runs smoothly and that everything is done where it needs to be done. They aren't miracle workers, but they sure do everything they can to help - and they're honest about what they can and can't do. Even if they can't make something happen - they still let you know. Really as long as you communicate and your attendance is there, you're on time for your shifts, and do the job - you'll have no issues. Just like with any other company.
Great staff they really want you to succeed . You feel like more than just a team you feel like family . That's the way it should be .
I have worked here for a little over 2 months now and let me tell you what! You can grow very fast with this company! As long as you put the work forward the rewards will come back! Absolutely love the management and have always gotten feedback very fast! Also been treated as a friend and felt like i am listened too. When i need help with something there is a hand there to help me, even when i have made mistakes they were forgiving and instead of being shamed it was a learning opportunity! 15/10 would recommend working for these guys absolutely love them! They are all family and all awesome influences to be around!
This is the best security company in Idaho, they also service Utah. I have a long term contract in which I need reliable security companies with quick responses. They are, by far... the most reliable and responsive company in the area.

CBI is the best security company to work for. Free training and classes from VERY experienced and professional trainers, amazing support and on-site training from supervisors, and multiple opportunities to learn and gain knowledge if you are looking at law enforcement or related fields.
Higher up management is also on point. They always answer my emails quickly and spend the time to talk and help with their employees ambitions and goals. The HR Manager is also great and does a fantastic job finding answers to any questions I have!
I would recommend this company to anyone that is interested in working in the security industry!
