DO NOT GO HERE. I went in college for treatment. I had to order my own CBCs because the nurses and doctor basically ignored my complaints, and they tried to let me go without testing me again for what I went in for (if I had left when they wanted me to - I would have had complications, so be prepared to advocate for yourself like crazy even if you're on pain meds). They accepted my insurance (and still do according to their website) and then charged me for thousands of dollars more, I worked with them to resolve it right after the fact as it was an error so I didn't pay it...because it was their billing error (read the comments, seems like its not uncommon for them).. but then last month (almost 5 years later, I dont even know how this is possible) it came up on my credit report as a COLLECTIONS DEBT. LITERALLY DRIVE TO ANOTHER TOWN BEFORE GOING HERE I DON'T KNOW A SINGLE PERSON WHO HASN'T BEEN BILLED INCORRECTLY. If you want to ruin your credit go to this hospital. I went from nearly perfect credit score to this. I cannot believe I have to write this to warn people.

Fantastic patient-centric care. A great place to seek assistance.

Please don t give a wretched review for trivial nonsense. Waiting? We re in a pandemic, and the medical field has critical shortages. Hurrying can compromise care of the patient, and the staff. Have a bit of empathy for people that are literally dying for you.

If you have enough time to post a negative review you have enough time to apply, and effect the change you think needs to occur.

Thank you, one and all, for serving this community. If I had money I d donate

So far so good; we have had only positive support the few times we ve needed the ER over 15 years; and recently
my husband has received excellent
Care in the ICU; thus hospital is clean , quiet, simple ; the staff is focused, kind and efficient!
I think they may have saved my husbands life;
W much gratitude; we are in the process of a major healing, awakening and physical, spiritual transformation! W much gratitude to the entire staff at CNC; from the EMT To check in; front desk, ICU nurses, telephone staff; doctors; techs and Nathan +++ in the dietary/ nutrition Dept! Thank You everyone!

My only wish now is an upgrade and integration within the dietary / nutrition to collaborate w the amazing local farms/ growers to incorporate farm to hospital ; IE; bone broths, carrot ginger soups etc; local free range poultry ; and meals using foods prepared w local organic Produce and products! THAT to upgrade to a pioneering/model hospital Nutritional system!

Waited for 3 hours and got no service except for the nurses (for no particular reason) taking temperatures and measuring weight, and got billed 200 dollars. Not sure if it's just this hospital or hospitals in the US in general, but unless you absolutely have to don't visit this place.
Don't reply with the useless canned response please.

If I could give zero stars I would. They're extremely slow and very unprofessional. When I went there with my fiance we waited for a total of 12 hours for them to finally tell us that they didn't know what was wrong. It's was definitely a waste of time and most of the doctors there act like they don't know anything so I definitely wouldn't recommend Cayuga Medical Center to be the best hospital unless if you just want to waste your time dealing with stupidity.

I had surgery for a bilateral inguinal hernia repair with Dr. Ripich on April 12. I couldn't have been more happy with how I was treated. Everyone was extremely friendly, and helpful. I went in a bit nervous, but my nurse, Mihaela, had excellent bedside manner and was great at making me feel comfortable.

Prior to the surgery, a couple weeks before, I had a CT scan. Again, the team was fantastic. My CT technician, Peri, also had a wonderful bedside manner.

In both of these instances I was quite nervous, but both times I felt better after these 2 employees made my visit that much better and made me feel that much safer.

I will be coming here for any procedure I may need.

Amazing staff and healing environment. I was treated for an emergency surgery and, compared to the many other hospitals I ve experienced, I was able to recover in beautiful, quiet surroundings. the doctors and nursing staff took care of me throughout the stay and carefully monitored my healing process. I stayed for 17 days and couldn t eat for several days so they gave me a picc line nutrition support. They also treated me for chronic fatigue caused by anemia so I received two iron infusions and magnesium and potassium infusions. I left much healthier and happier than when I arrived.
