This place is adorable. Very clean. We had a picnic in the yard and it was just cute. The baguette was warm, cheese was fresh and honestly can t complain. Yeah a little shade would be nice but it s still a nice date idea. We bought a bottle of the Chardonnay.
Great experience. My partner and I were visiting NOTL for our anniversary and planned on visiting a quality winery. We were particularly drawn to this location for their 'Picnic in the Vineyard' service, and thought of it as a unique and creative service to visitors. A week in advance I had sent an email requesting to make a picnic basket reservation, but received no response. Once we arrived the day of it was extremely busy and staffed looked overwhelmed. After periods of waiting we were then helped graciously, and staff were very social and knowledgeable on their wines. Picnic baskets are made to order and took longer than usual due to busy traffic. Thankfully that day we were not in a rush so the slow service didn't impact our experience to an extreme. Had a lovely time exploring the vineyards and enjoying our basket of goodies. Oh, and the icewine is a hit! If you want to experience a picnic in the vineyards, and love icewine, give Cattail Creek a try.

It is our favourite place! It is a cozy little winery with a very delicious picnic baskets! Also their ice wine is to die for!
We visit Cattail Creek every time we head to Niagara-on-the-Lake. My mother-in-law loved it so much we even purchased a wine club membership for her. I would highly recommend trying their ice wines - absolutely amazing. In the summer, indulge and get the picnic basket to be enjoyed outside on the lawn with a glass of riesling or chardonnary. Quaint little winery that is definitely worth the visit!
