I was allowed to spend two nights at Kahu Cottage in November 18. The cottage is in a single location on the edge of the forest with a sensational view of sheep-speckled green hills! It is comfortably furnished, nothing is missing, you just have to feel good! The breakfast was delicious! The hosts Gill and Lyndon lovingly take care of their guests on the Beach, Bush and Waterfall Tour with Lyndon
beautiful and impressive !! 10 stars for this accommodation !!!

Such a beautiful outlook, so peaceful. The room was immaculate. We did the ATV tour late in the afternoon and were treated to lovely farm and coastal vistas and some great banter with Lyndon.
Thoroughly reccommend staying here, hosts Gill and Lyndon are so very welcoming, you feel like you're staying with friends. 5 star +

The gravel road and forest canopy suggested we were going somewhere remote, somewhere special. Catlins Mohua park did not disappoint! The beauty of the valley outside the cabin is mind boggling. The property and services are configured so you can have this slice of paradise to yourself. Well done hosts Lyndon and Gill.

Has the unique balance of a great welcome, and secluded privacy.
The chalets are spacious and comfortable and have a homely feel you don't want to leave.
Views and settings are awesome, along with your hosts. The best location to explore this area of NZ, with a very experienced and humorous guide.
It has a great untouched feel, in a magical part of the Catlins. It is in the middle of nowhere, which gives you the opportunity to rest, relax and recharge.
Definitely home from home, and will be back soon.

Wow, what a beautiful place. So secluded and private. Watching the sunrise from the deck our private cabin was one of the highlights of our whole time in New Zealand. Rooms were spacious and had everything we needed.

This wonderful note was sent to us by Evan and Judy, they asked that we share it! We were glad to do so!!

"Mohua Park is a wonderful place to stay. The accommodation is first class and Gill and Lyndon are fantastic hosts. When we were snow bound at Mohua Park in the worst snow storm in a decade, Gill and Lyndon ran us and our car to Balclutha and the main highway - a round trip of more than 80kms for them. That's the action of generous people who go out of their way to help their guests."

Beautifully appointed cottage in a stunning setting
We stayed at Mohua Park for 2 nights and loved it. It was so peaceful (no tv:)! and has all the comforts you need. The private setting was stunning - loved the new-born lambs in the paddock in front too. Did some exploring of the Catlins (plenty to do - would be easy to spend a week here). Highly recommended! We'll be back!

A very beautiful and charming stay. Feeding the newborn lambs was a bonus! The cottage was extremely clean and well insulated. The hosts were fantastic and the country breakfasts each morning were delicious. Looking forward to staying here again!
