The receptionist is rude and unprofessional, the front desk staff is not much better. If you re in need of help they ask lots of offensive, intrusive questions that are prejudiced and racist in nature.
Serves the most needy. Keeps many of us from sliding downhill. Bless them

Catholic Charities Hawaii is a fantastic community institution. They provide many services for the community like rental assistance, housing and homeless assistance, seniors programs, counseling and mental health, family programs, and more. If you need some help give them a call they probably can help you or find someone who can. Mahalo for all that they do.
They don't care how to live people in pandemic. Only care the paper!!!
My thing is, if you are going to pursue a career in social work, you have to have some type of heart for the less fortunate people out here. There are people who work and work but because Hawaii is so damn expensive, they CANT make it. There are also people who have disabilities. What I'm saying is that everyone is going through something of some sort
So, You need to have empathy and sympathy for everyone. Especially if you are getting paid for it. You have to treat everyone the same. Don't FAVOR CERTAIN FAMILIES OVER OTHER FAMILIES .That's not right. Everyone is and should be treated equally. If you can't do that then CHOOSE ANOTHER CAREER!!! I have PERSONALLY stayed there as well. Thank you
