I have lived here a couple of times and they helped me so much.

Was kicked out and accused of stealing a bed frame. Had all of my stuff in there was kicked out and verbally abused. Now have no where to go when i already thought i was going to get a head start to get back up on my feet.

They offer great services for citizenship classes, English as second classes and healthy eating.

What an amazing staff and stellar services available to the community here. And each of us can play a part through donating time, talents, or resources.

Immature Adults here in the housing center. Immature and will cause drama. Got kicked out after a few months of living here and not doing anything wrong but when someone is doing drugs everything s fine.

Great people doing a great thing! The world is better off for the work the CMC is doing!

This is a great place to volunteer. There are opportunities to improve people's lives that are fun and interesting. I highly recommend contacting them and getting involved.

They have a very good team to help with learning the English language.
As well as some mentoring for the new immigrants.

This place, staff and volunteers has been a blessing to our family (7 members). We have been learning English there, we did our whole Citizenship process through CMC. We got better jobs, salaries and the quality of our lives has improved a lot with their help, we don't need interpreters services now because we work as interpreters for others in our Hispanic community. God bless Cedar Rapids and CMC!

The staff here are so great! You can tell that everyone here is super passionate about helping people and are dedicated to getting resources for the women served. You couldn t ask for a better group of people to look out for the needs of yourself or a loved one going through a rough transitional period.

Horrible environment don t recommend unless you enjoy being bullied.

Can i as an American learn esl for future reference

without a doubt a place with wonderful people where you will always have a helping hand, and if you are foreigner this is the right lugsr to improve your English language skills

I lived at Catherine McAuley Center for 2 years. It was the most awesome experience a women could ever have. Finding who she really is gaining self-acceptance and being able to look in in the mirror and Truly say I love this women is where it all started. By applying and following just some easy simple rules that only took common sense to follow. Now I give back by helping girls there and will continue to do so.
