I would add below that Mr. Deo doesn't know the meaning of Protestant either. Not all Non-Catholic Christian denominations are Protestant. That is a word to describe a very specific movement.
And as others have said, Catholic simply means universal. For those of working to Unite, rather than divide, this kind of position is counterproductive and not particularly Christ-like.
It appears that some people who see our Church do not know the meaning of "catholic"! Therefore the comment about our St. Anthony Cathedral Abbey by Mr. "Deo Gratias" is false and offensive. He should study Church history and see how many ancient Catholic Churches exist besides the Roman Catholic Church. Catholic does not always mean Roman Catholic alone. In the Nicene Creed we pray, ",,,We believe in the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church..." We do not pray, we believe in the one holy roman catholic church...Let us be Christians first following Christ and live according to HIS Commandments. Blessings to you all.

Bishop Karl is interesting and passionate. Great group of people. Honest caring worth the visit. Everyone is actually welcome even those of other faiths or no faith
It s the best catholic community I have seen in Michigan. They care for the poor, and they welcome you with open hearts!
I just love this church it makes me feel the true love of Jesus Christ. This is the way that the church is supposed to be.
