We had a bad month trying to find someone to put in a hot water heater and then we hired someone and they did not wire it properly causing a hot wire that was tripping the breaker causing a lot of worry. Cates electric co came to the rescue with a great attitude and fixed it with ease. Thank you so very much and also the gentlemen who came were exceptional and very kind.

I manage a large RV park in Carrabelle, and had a major emergency today...three rows, or 30 sites/cottages out of power.....called Cates Electric, Mike came out...said he could order parts but couldn't do the work until Monday so we would have to send 30 families away due to no a/c, light or power at all. We would have to have them all leave their vacation so I called other electricians...this upset Mike and he told my maintenance director for us not to call him back, that he had come out once before and not got the job....I said Mike..send me a bill for you coming out to look at a job and we will pay you, but don't expect me to lose thousands in revenue and send guests away...I felt horrible for these families and one child had cancer and was undergoing chemo and would have no place to stay at all.......we did however find an electrician to come out and temporarily fix our issue and they will also be fixing it for good..Mike seems to be more about the money than the families who had no air or lights for their summer vacation....the issue is fixed and we will be using All Day Electric out of Crawfordville from now on...
Called for service. Never received a callback. I called back a couple of times to follow up. I was promised a return call but it never came. Found another vendor.
Wow...Found Cates through referral from a neighbor. Totally professional! Did a great job of changing out our service entry point, adding a whole house generator port, adding outlets inside and out and fixed faulty wiring in a 70+ year old home. I highly recommend this contractor!!
