Even with the limitations brought on by the pandemic, in over 40 years of cat ownership, I have never experienced such a personal and caring veterinary practice. Thank you! I look forward to many years of care for our new cat!
I've been taking my cats to vets in this area for 20+ years now, and I've been through a half dozen vets. Cat Care Professions are very different from all the rest.
For the other vets, most of their patients are dogs, and they treat cats like they are small dogs. Many of the vets I've encountered are clearly clueless about cats. Their answer to a stressed out cat is to use more force. And a large part of the stress of the place is that the whole place smells like dogs, there is constant dog barking, and dog owners that just let their dogs wander around the lobby unsupervised. Not good.
The other big problem with most of the vets I've been to is that inevitably it's the best vets that leave (to do their own thing) which over time leads to a truly mediocre pool of vets that remain.
Cat Care Professions are a breath of fresh air to me. They know cats (REALLY well), they treat them gently and are extremely reluctant to use force. They have all sorts of insights and experience in treating issues that your cats are having. The follow through is really impressive. They always check back with you (often multiple times) after a visit. I've had vets that were treating really serious health conditions in my cats, and there is ZERO follow through after your session. It says a lot about their priorities.
The only drawback at all is that they are pricey (but not quite to excess). I definitely recommend giving them a try if you have cats.
Cat Care Professionals is THE place to take your kitties for their health care! We have three Siberian cats and they are cared for beautifully. The docs and staff are knowledgeable and so very kind.
We first became acquainted with Cat Care when we adopted a rescue. Ulee was old, emaciated, toothless, and fearful. Under CCP s care he turned into 10lbs of loving, playful kitty. I ve known many excellent veterinary clinics, but for cats, there s no better place.

They always answer our questions, always let us know how they did in their exams, and just genuinely seem to care about them. And they're super good at making us feel like each of them is special! They've handled the craziness of covid beautifully and we are so very thankful .
We have used Cat Care over the years for all our kitties as they come and eventually cross over. We love the staff, all the doctors all the nurses and the front desk people. They love our cats no matter which ones we bring into them even though ones that can t be fussy. The doctors are great about giving clear direction and summary of our kitties health. We are forever grateful to them and are so thankful that we live so close to them. Keep up the good work!
We lost our sweet cat Sadie in February after a long battle with various illnesses. Cat Care Professionals provides us with the most warm, compassionate and competent care to the very end. They thoroughly explained all options and were supportive of our decisions. They loved our Sadie like she was their own and treated us so kindly. We adopted a new kitty in March and Cat Care was our first choice of vet. Highly recommended.
Can t even tell you how happy we are to have our 4 girls cared for by Drs Ellington and Cornwall and their competent patient staff.. very empathetic and spend plenty of time with their cat parent and treat the kitties very gently and are super knowledgeable.
