This place is awesome. It's a safe and sober space for meetings and fellowship! A great spot for sober people and those seeking recovery to escape the melee and connect with the community! This place has literally saved countless lives by providing a place where people with addiction issues can meet and recover!
They are a nonprofit and are entirely self-supported through donations and the sales of drinks and snacks. They also provide job-training and volunteer opportunities for the community.

I come here for the Sunday crystal meth anonymous. It's really great. You can donate here. I recommended people try to make fake stuff to help cloud blowing smokers who find it fun. This stuff makes me horny so I come here to seek help. I come from divorce, domestic violence, and early onset abuse, and poor childhood development. Thanks again!

A clean, sober and safe cafe in the heart of The Castro. Well-prepared coffee drinks, excellent grab and go foods including paninis, pastries, and cakes. You can also catch scheduled 12-Step meetings throughout the day.

About castro country club

Castro Country Club: A Safe Haven for the LGBTQ Recovery Community

The Castro Country Club is a unique gathering place that provides a safe and sober environment for all people, especially those in the LGBTQ community who are seeking recovery from addiction. The club is located in San Francisco's vibrant Castro district, which has long been known as a hub of LGBTQ culture and activism.

The club was founded in 1983 by a group of gay men who were struggling with addiction and wanted to create a space where they could support each other in their recovery. Over the years, the club has grown into an important resource for the entire LGBTQ community, offering a wide range of programs and services designed to promote health, wellness, and personal growth.

One of the key features of the Castro Country Club is its commitment to inclusivity. The club welcomes people from all walks of life regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. It also recognizes that addiction affects people from all backgrounds and strives to create an environment where everyone feels welcome and supported.

The club offers a variety of programs designed to help members achieve sobriety and maintain their recovery over time. These include 12-step meetings (such as Alcoholics Anonymous), meditation groups, yoga classes, art workshops, social events, and more. Members can also take advantage of individual counseling sessions with licensed therapists who specialize in addiction treatment.

In addition to its focus on recovery support services, the Castro Country Club also serves as an important cultural center for San Francisco's LGBTQ community. The club hosts regular art exhibits featuring work by local queer artists as well as live music performances by up-and-coming musicians.

Overall, the Castro Country Club is much more than just another sober living facility or rehab center - it's truly a home away from home for many members of San Francisco's vibrant LGBTQ community. Whether you're looking for support on your journey towards sobriety or simply want to connect with like-minded individuals who share your values and interests, this welcoming space has something to offer everyone.
