Made reservations for the lobster night with my wife. We rarely get out and away from the kids n work. We were seated at a folding card table with patio furniture seats. We asked to sit somewhere else and they refused even though there were open booths and REAL tables(saying that the booths are for larger parties than 2). We sat at our card table till we seen them sit another couple (2 people) at the booth that we asked for. Went back to the front counter and made it clear that we were not happy sitting at a card table. After much frustration and scurrying around they angrily sat us at a booth. Making a reservation for an event and holding our place with $100 credit card place holder (spent $127 total)should guarantee an actual seat at a booth or table and i sure as hell shouldn't have been met with rudeness when I expressed my preference for an actual table/booth.

As we pull up we happen to notice a couple of waitresses outside talking. They speak and we say hello. We walk in to a sign that days please wait be seated. We also notice there is no one in the restaurant, the staff are behind the bar in deep conversation. We wait to be seated and the bar tender walks over and tells us that we can pick a seat and that our waitress will be with us. Oookkk, we take a table that wws in the middle of the restaurant (we wanted to have a clear view of the games on the plethora of flat screen tvs) and a waitress comes over to take our drink orders. Water and a Sprite with grenadine. She comes back fairly quickly, takes our food order and then leaves after we ask for a couple of straws. She never came back with the straws lol. I walk up to the bar 10 minutes later and grab them. 25 min later the food comes out. We ordered the front burger with bacon and cheese cooked medium. It came with parmesan fries. I got the Lobster Diablo roll. We were feeling a little iffy on how the food would be, due to the service thus far has been... lacking. After everything was said and done, we were full and enjoyed our food to the fullest. Everything was flavorful. The fries were excellent! The burger could have been cooked better (as far as temp) but it was still very tasty. The roll was huge and I had to take it home. My only recommendation is that the servers are a lot more attentive. One thing that was super interesting about our visit was that our check came out in a book. lol An actual book. We will be back.

I have enjoyed the asian lunch buffet 2 times and was very impressed. I love chinese buffet and have been to far too many. This place is definitely going for quality not quantity. I can honestly say everything I had was good to exceptional. Service was more like bar service but adequate and I was in and out very quickly.

They have a sushi buffet during lunch that is absolutely terrific. Different kinds of rolls - with only two of them being California - and they were all fresh. There's also rice, fried rice, and lo mein with several varieties of meat and vegetables. The General Tso was delicious and the Sriracha chicken is out of this world.

Went on a first date here and the food was great! The atmosphere is awesone! And the staff was awesone as well. We spent an hour talking getting to know each other before we ordered. We didn't feel rushed to leave or order. Once we placed our order the food came out really quick and can I say very impressed it was delicious.

I have been all over the country for more years than I will express now. However... I will say I have been to over 10,000 restaurants. Some were great, some not so much. But. This resurrection of an amazing experience at a restaurant deserves nothing short of 5 stars. Wait staff was incredible. The ingredients of the food.... Out of this world. It was a family friendly environment. I am so happy to say that me and my family will always return. Thank You! Great Work!

I am writing this review particularly to compliment the pan-asian style lunch buffet, which is a continuation from the lunch service provided at the same location before they remodeled (used to be Xiao). The buffet is always well stocked, has a great variety, and is delicious (try the sriracha chicken, not as spicy as it might sound and has tons of flavor). You also can't ask for a more reasonable price for a quick and easy weekday lunch. I would recommend trying it out.

My wife and I have been to Cask and CO a handful of times. Our 1st experience was great! Food was good and service was great. Second time was right after they switched to fast casual dining. Food was mediocre. Tonight we ordered take-out my wife was missing an item because apparently they were out. It specifically states to contact me if not available that didn't happen. I ordered a pasta dish, it was horrible. It tasted like it had been sitting out for hours with some shaved parm thrown on top. When we called to inquire as to why we were missing an item there response was you weren't charged. Won't be coming back, food is too pricey for just being ok.

Absolutely horrible. Spicy Tuna Sushi was mostly cucumber. Not your mama's grilled cheese was gross, 1/2 a slice of bacon, 1/2 an apple slice and no fig as the menu described. Our waitress was apologetic and said "he doesn't care" referring to the chefOwner. Food was not good!

This place is bananas. The Spartan fries might be the best appetizer I've ever had in my life - they're a whole meal by themselves. The prices are super reasonable, the service is good, and the sushi is pretty darn good too. Focus on the deep fried tools, they seem to be more consistent than the traditional rolls. They use paper straws, so it's nice to see they're trying to be eco-friendly. The outdoor seating is also nice. I counted 20 flat screen tv's on the walls, plus a big projector screen all playing sports - it's like a sushi sports bar, if that makes sense. I will definitely be coming back here again!

Overall it was an ok experience. We waited a long time at the door and once seated, waited even more time for our waitress to come to the table. With it being very slow, partially full bar and 3 booths occupied, there really was no reason for the slow service. Got to the point we almost walked out. The drinks were were the best part, although they didnt have ingredients for one of the drinks we wanted. We both ordered burgers and the cheese wasn't even melted (pictured below). For how slow it was, everything should of been on point. I guess for the ambience and reviews I expected a better experience.

Kaitlynn was as hospitable as she was cheerful. Excellent service and stellar attitude, she deserves to be commended! The food was incredible and came promptly and with beautiful plating. I highly recommend this place and their Lobster Diablo roll. The best roll of its type I've had in MI!

I was really surprised by this place. I heard about it but knew nothing about what was on the menu. They have a range of things from Cornish hens to sushi. I had the Marco Polo sushi roll- while I thought the price was a bit high, the roll was very large and it seemed like a good value. They were great about the details of my friend's dish (she had a few things removed or kept on the side), which is how we learned they use lots of single use plastic for dips. This caught us both off guard given the paper straws and other nice dishware. They had a great beer selection and cocktails. The furnishing we're nice (comfy pillows at the booth we sat in) and it kept with the theme. The space wasn't overly noisy like lost of similar large restaurant spaces. The table decor did surprise me a bit (white and red fake roses) but I think/hope it's only temporary from Valentine's day the week before. The spacing if the booths was spaced far from the tables making it hard to eat for us, take that into consideration if you have a choice.

Had a GREAT time at the bar with Ethan & Jake. Drinks were done well, beer selection was diverse. I had the Lamb Lollipops which were delicious and dining companion enjoyed her Fungus Flatbread! Will be back for Sure! Will come back for a game, I think they might have the best to view a game in the area

Not impressed. Told the waiter I was hungry & looking for a meal. He recommended an MSU Sushi roll. Ok, it was good. But I was looking for a MEAL. Not a "snack". With a Beer, came to $17 & some change. Not worth the price. Very slow service & not really good answers to my questions. Doubt if I'll be back....

Went there on a Friday night before 7. It was packed. It was also loud, what with the TVs and music and people shouting to be heard. The beer is served in sissy glasses, which are maybe 8 ounces, but they charge for what would be 12 ounces elsewhere. Lots of sushi - too much - on the menu. I ordered a burger. The waitperson could not tell me what "medium" was like. The burger was very average. Tasteless bun. The burger had cheese sticking to the side. I don't eat cheese. The burger comes with pretentious fries (garlic and parm sprinkle), but the fries weren't hot. The pastrami sandwich was also ordinary. Probably will not go back, especially when it's cold outside because cold air blows thru the place every time the door opens.

Beautiful interior. I always liked Xiao's, but this place has taken it to a new level. There is delicious food for any appetite whether it's a pastramis sandwich or some perfect sushi rolls! The food is presented with skill. The wait staff is spot on. This has become a new fav for us.

I don't even want to tell y'all about this lunch buffet. But it's amazing. I was hesitant because it was so small. But big taste came in this small package. Industrial design with 20 TVs. The bar stools are amazingly comfortable. Clean. That Sriracha chicken was amazing, I don't even like Sriracha.

We enjoyed our time here. We sat at the bar and the bartender was mostly attentive. We had to flag him down a couple of times because he was talking to the other staff to refill our drinks. We got two sushi rolls and 2 glasses of wine each. The presentation was fantastic and they tasted great. Honestly I wish they would reduce the portion size and therefore prices. It was just too expensive to return on a regular basis (I am not a fan of left over sushi, but some might be). We spent about $70 and it truly wasn't anything spectacular. My last glass of wine the bartender emptied the bottle barely filling my glass and just gave it me without opening another one. For the price, I expect better. The place looked beautiful though and had nice ambiance. We have been checking online to see if they ever have discount nights, but $17 for one sushi roll is just too much.

The staff is knowledgeable and provides excellent hospitality and service. Come here, you will not be disappointed. Look at the other reviews, im not sure of it is the owner or manager that responds but whoever they are they respond and insure all issues are addressed and customers are compensated. Thats how business is done and done right.

Lunch buffet is great. The place is clean and stylish. Wait staff is friendly and prompt. I went here once and loved it so much that I went back 2 more times. The sriracha chicken is to die for. The selection is smaller than other buffets, but the quality is pretty high. There are 6-7 dishes plus various sushi rolls and things. Will be a regular, and I don't even like to eat lunch!

Service was great. She was friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. Food was mediocre. My broccoli was literally ice cold, and salmon was rare in the middle( I ordered medium). Its also served with plain white rice, which is odd to see. Probably a few better starch options to pair with salmon. I will be back though, and give them another shot.

Not too happy. Four of us had drinks apps and dinner. Dinner was way late. They apologized. Waitres.never.checked back on how meal was or refills (except once when I finished my beer after apps.). Manager.came by and said he would get my friend a needed beer but never did. Hostess handled final bill and was the most helpful. Food ok. Spent one hour and 45 minutes there. They did honor an expired coupon to help cover service
