What a fantastic place - full of animals and plenty of interactive experiences. I can personally recommend the segway experience & i suggest later in the day - it's less busy & we were the only 2 people so it was virtually a personalised tour & we were able to feed the zebras. The quads might look fun but they're very noisy & disturb YOUR enjoyment and the immediate environment-stick with the segway! Also the cheetah interaction was incredible. There are many other activities available but beware of planning too much - it takes over half a day to just walk around the park & take it all in, so if you book more than 2 additional activities you'll have to cut something short.

Only fun thing in the package included in the entry ticket is the tulawaka, but even this gets tiring as you have to wait at least 30 mins standing in the heat before your reach there ! All the other cool activities require additional $$$

I start with the absolute TIP: A day to Casela does not have to be expensive. The park is very commercial, so try to make you pay for practically everything. We only bought an entrance ticket and nothing else and we do not regret it for a second!

Casela is really gigantic, you can easily enjoy yourself here for a whole day! Lots of animals, large enclosures and long walking distances. With your entrance ticket you can go tobogganing and go on a bus safari. The first two parts you can walk, then you go by bus to part three and here on safari. The safari ride is really bumpy, so make sure you haven't eaten a lot just before ;-)

At the end you will be taken back to the parking lot by bus. Delicious! This is really a different kind of animal park than we know in the Netherlands, much nicer.

Amazing place to visit and spend time in Mauritius. They have 3 main sections - Bird park, pet farm and mini safari.
Major attraction is Gaint tortoises and interaction with lions. Charge for interaction with lions is 1000 Mauritan rupees. But they atleast need a group of 15 pax. Also pink swan is the major attraction as it is found only in Mauritius. They also have many rides like roller coaster, zipnliner and so on... Mini safari is done from there shuttle. They also hire motor jeeps to ride in the safari.

Very pretty zoo. You can touch a lot of animals (hinds, giant tortoises, rabbits, pigs ...). Very large aviary! I recommend it for a family outing. However, there is little availability for the proposed attractions and they are not accessible every day (do not go on Sunday if you want to touch the lions and ride on camels).

This was quite a disappointing experience.

This was quite a disappointing experience.
The park itself seems very large but with few animals inside. It seems many animals are just imported and dropped into specific areas but the actual size of the Park is way too big.

We spent at least 40% of the time queueing (for initial entry tickets and what seemed like an endless safari queue ride back and forth from the safari park).

One of the most disappointing parts of the park was the fact you needed to wait for a safari Jeep to take you to the safari park and then another Jeep required to see the safari! Waiting in the heat can be difficult, particularly for the young and elderly. The double whammy being you see very little while on the Jeep anyway.

Many animal cages only included 1 example of the animal (e.g the hyenas) which was disappointing.

The signage of the Park is also slightly confusing, with arrows pointing in directions that don't correspond to each attraction.

To sum up, we either came at a bad time in terms of season, day or time but to us the Park seems to require quite a bit of an overhaul. And that makes me sad because some the animals are wonderful including the tortoise and lions.

Feeding to animals.
There are not much wild animals to see in zoo.
Zoo is very good for photography. Surrounded by greenery all around.
4D movie is awesome experience.

Very nice place! There are many different and varied animals. We did a quad safari .. just .. Wow!
Only small flaws, part of the park should not be crossed on foot, which we did not know, but no one warned us when we saw us go.
Second thing, the lions ... very disappointed because they are totally shot to allow people to walk with them.
An invisible hippopotamus ..
But otherwise the place is full of interesting activity like a sledge 'roller coaster', really topissime!

It is a nice place, they take good care of all animals. The only problem is that is very crouded and you have to pay a lot of money to do all activities. Also we had to stay at the que for the safari bus at least 30 min each. The ice cream stand no.15 was closed all day even it was very hot. At the mountain coaster we have waited about 30min that we quit because of the big que. Also the yellow arrows that guide you trough the park will end after the 1st restaurant and you are quite confused where to go next.
In conclusion to expensive and over rated!

Facility was clean and new but the experience was bit bland overall. Unfortunatelly when we were there the mountain activities were unavailable, as the zipline was the reason we went there. We ended up going to the park which was well organized but nothing special. The petting zoo was fun but some of the other eclosures were bit sad. The safari part was fun as you get too see animals in a natural-ish environment.

This should have vehicle for old age people. They should not charge for the drive thru safari. Other wise its total waste of time seeing ordinary animals and totally squeezed your money for every single thing.

Beautiful place for a family day out. There is so much to see, keeping the whole family entertained. The park is very clean, staff are very friendly and helpful. Is amazing to see that the animals have Sufficient space to move around in cages, they are very well looked after. Kids love the playground and petting farm.

Rs775 for adult and Rs 500 for kid.if you go to visit with family it's a good idea and especially for the kids:)better stay whole day there even it's not that huge but for kids to learn some thing about the nature and animals it would be a good way to enjoy and make the cost worth;))

Nice place to spend the day, interaction with animals is nice, safari is not that great. Unfortunately the tulawaka roller coaster was down during my visit. Definitely wanna try it next time.

Quite good if you are looking for specific activities such as safari, quad, walk with big cats, etc (if you have the budget). But don't expect to do much however as simple visitor. Also the restaurant is mediocre and service really slow.

We loved this place. A full family day out, clean, well organized and a wonderful experience. Plenty of places to site and relax while the kids look around. A good selection of animals and birds. The giant tortoise are terrific

Great value and an action packed day.

Don't forget to give this a thumbs up if you found it helpful.

It is preferable to come to this park early to cover all activities sufficient time for approximately 4 hours if the number of family members 5 people. The best need in the park is a ski trolley ... All children from 5 years old are allowed in the ski trolley.

Came to the park just cause of the tigers... but ended up staying longer than anticipated. There are a couple of activities that keep you busy. I did the 'drive through' and that I think sufficed for my part. There are other activities you can pay for and you can easily visit this place more than once during your holiday since there are a couple of activities to choose from. The entrance tickets however are not that cheap.

Amazing property

Amazing property
Clear instructions
Amazing quad biking
Interaction with lions is for quite short span. Otherwise animals and all are beautiful.
But they charge too much for these activities

One of the best place for adventures in Mauritius . Tubby slide, tubby jump, safari, walk with lions and the brand new activity- Tulawaka. You will definitely live a great experience there. The Nepalese Bridge and the ziplines are thrilling. Real boost of adrenaline. Canyon swing is a must do activity. The park has a large parking and restaurant. There is also a kids corner for children under 10. Highly recommend this park for wonderful moment.

The experience here was amazing. To see the beautiful animal like lion , cheetah, tiger giraffe so up close in their natural like habitat is amazing. If not for casela so many would miss the chance to see these animals like this.
The roller coaster ride make sure everybody enjoys the place. The staff is amazing and very hospitable. Helped us when I was charged extra on my card
