French Public Cultural Association for Hispanic Studies. Founded in 1920, inaugurated on November 20, 1928 by King Alfonso XIII, it was destroyed in 1936 during the Civil War in the course of the Battle of the University City. It was rebuilt in 1959 in its original location, the Ciudad Universitaria de Madrid.

Beautiful building that was destroyed twice and rebuilt. Near the Costume Museum in the University City area. It is currently a French Hispanic research center in which several students develop their projects. Also host a paint sample. Its modern library is worth visiting.

Beautiful historical palace in the hearty of the Spanish capital with delicious food that unites spanish, french, and international cultures

A friend of mine was there a while ago and told me she loved it. I had never gone before, but I felt like it, so I took advantage of the Architecture Week and made a guided tour.

The guide has not been 10, really, but the building is highly recommended to visit. Is beautiful! In addition, it is in use and people can go to research and develop projects in the library, there are houses that are given annually to artists who are with their projects, etc.

What is most worth it is this staircase and the patio through which you enter the building, which is just up the steps.

Very French: a lot of noise and few nuts. Extremely inefficient. Improvement for the French, but in Spanish, don't expect much. Too bad space and catalog.
