I worked 17 years in Medical, and wanted to say that the ER and Surgery staff are excellent. They all took really great care of me. I would've been blessed to be working with this group. Loved their professional ways.
Have been trying to get an appointment for over a month now with Job's Peak inside CVMC. First time I called the front desk person said I'd have to call back because apparently only one person can schedule patients that are referred. I call back the following Tuesday to be told by special scheduler that she doesn't have either of the referrals sent by two of my different doctors. Call back 2 weeks later (she is in every other Tuesday), to be told that special scheduler is not available and that she would take a message and have her call me back. That was 3 days ago and lo and behold still no return call! What a joke and highly disappointing!! Are you really that busy????
Carson Valley Medical Center saved me from a bad COVID experience. They saved my life! Great medical staff in an awesome location. Praise God!
I just had a wonderful experience at Carson valley medical center and wanted to share with everybody out there. I had a CT scan and a blood test and I wanted to say it was a pleasant experience. They treat you like a human being.

Just wanted to share my experience laughing , getting along with everybody, and getting comfortable.
They denied me medical treatment after I had been going to PT for almost 3 months. I was told I could not wear a mask for a unrelated medical reason and when I showed up for my PT they said that they could not allow me in without a mask. I explained my current situation and they said that they could not let me in because it is their policy that regardless of other medical issues you have to wear a mask. So now I'm out of much needed PT because they are not understanding to others. I understand the whole Covid thing but there are extenuating circumstances that prevent some people from this policy. I learned today that the staff at CVMC and there higher ups just don't care.
Wife went to emergency room on 12/26. Diagnosed with an UTI and skin yeast infection. Was given an antibiotic capsule in the hospital and a prescription to have filled. Hospital charged $6.25 for one pill. Had prescription filled for 10 pills for $1.11. She also was given a bottle of powder for the yeast infection. Hospital charged $126.50. Had she been given a prescription could have gotten it filled for $9.50

They have very bad communication skills. I kept calling for their covid testing, and they kept saying they did not do covid testing there. My provider specifically told me carson valley medical center would do the covid testing. I called them 5 separate times until I finally got them to tell me where their covid testing was being done.
I was referred by the VA to the medical center's rehab service for pain in the neck and restrictive movement. Within a day of my first visit with Zoe, I could feel a difference which improved with additional exercises. Zoe's encouragement and optimism about my results helped and I feel much, much better than when I first check in in the second week of December. I cannot make a stronger recommendation and if you go and you like them, they like cheesecake.
