My husband spent 6 weeks at this facility after a month long stay in the ICU battling covid pneumonia. I spent 12 hours a day with my husband at this facility while he was recovering so I got know the doctors, respiratory therapist, nurses & nurse assistants very well. Their care met & exceeded my/our expectations. On a daily basis we met with Dr Perlman and/or his PA, Sandy. We were very pleased with the communication. Both were always willing to listen to any & all questions & concerns. The respiratory therapist were all great with the ventilator weaning process. So thankful for the patience that was taken with my husband while he suffered from anxiety during this time.
Julie ended up being our case manager at the end of my husband's stay. All I can say is that she went way above & beyond for us when it was time for discharge.
We are forever grateful for the care my husband received during his stay here.

Carolinas Continue Care Hosp at Pineville has a special place in my heart,
Drs, Nurses, Respiratory Therapist, Recruiters and other disciplinary teams they are put thru tough challenges and are dealing with sick patients. All the workers at this place needs recognition of gold star, I wouldn't want anyone else taking care of me and my family, unless it's these great group of professionals. Keep it up everyone.

I m not a medical professional. So I may not know.
Is it acceptable for the monitors that are attached to the patient alarm for well over 10 mins? Yes, poor connection set off the alarms. (So thank goodness) However If one is here due to oxygen saturation dropping into the 80 s without high flow oxygen in place and has a history of Congestive Heart Failure. Wouldn t an alarm in the middle of the night, be high on the list of things to listen for or attend to?

Slid the chair out of the corner to find a dead. Roach. Sticky floor
Discarded IV piggy back. (No IV needed for my dad)

Very disappointed in this facility. After a long battle with pneumonia due to COVID my dad was sent there to help wean him down on oxygen, and we thought, to get him rehabilitated. The patient to nurse ratio was supposed to be two to one, but it seemed a nurse was difficult to find a lot of the time, rarely checking in. So, if he or she only had one other patient, where were they all that time? Finally, upon discharge to move my dad to a rehab facility, because they certainly didn't get him mobile, we found he had a stage three wound on his bottom. This sheer neglect from not turning him and not changing him regularly and letting him sit in a soiled diaper.

Following a lengthy Covid hospital stay I was in search of a long term acute care facility with special emphasis on pulmonary rehabilitation. Carolinas ContinueCare Hospital/Pineville was the perfect match to my needs. The quality of care, accessibility to specialists and planned daily activities enhanced my recovery time and greatly improved my prognosis. I am forever grateful to their organization and highly recommend them for LTAC needs.

I wish I could give Carolinas ContinueCare at Pineville more stars. They will forever hold a special place in our heart. My husband was in a car accident and we went to Carolinas ContinueCare while he was still minimally conscious, a scary enough situation in itself, however we came clear from WV! My husband was on a ventilator when we arrived. They had him weaned off his Ventilator COMPLETELY in FOUR days!!!!!!! The care and compassion we received from every single person we had the pleasure of meeting was second to none. They quickly became like family to us. Some we still keep in touch with to this day. I cannot recommend enough!

I always dread going to the hospital, but the staff at Pineville put me at ease and were extremely helpful and courteous. I will also say that Pineville s restrooms were impeccably clean - that was imperative during my time there

My husband was at this hospital for 3 months and got the best care. Everyone was so nice and kept me informed about his health. Denise the wound specialist is the best. All the nurses, nurse technicians, respiratory technicians and PA Sandy were wonderful to work with as were the case workers Amy and Julie. The front desk people were nice and friendly. Thank you Carolinas Continuecare.
