The best service I have ever received in years. The 2 team members that helped me and my cousin last night to transport me to another apartment because of my disability was amazing. They were very caring, respectful, resourceful, and overall great people who love what they do. They handled me with care down the stairs and I'm so greatful I joined Careflite.

I called the customer service to complain about sorry state of their ambulances. The customer service lady made it sound as if I am speaking french. They have rickety old vans if you need road transport. You will feel all the bumps in the roads amplified in their vans. Save yourself some trouble request alternate arrangements.
I m a truck driver and was forced to call an ambulance to get to the nearest hospital when I had an asthma attack. The ride took 20 minutes to the so-called nearest hospital. There was no air in the ambulance which made my breathing worse. To be clear this was in Waco Texas in July. I received a bill almost 2 months later for just shy of $3,000 dollars. Mind you I have full insurance which only covered $250. Other than the mileage, the only actual treatment I was given in route was oxygen & vitals monitored. There s no justification for the cost of this bill. These people are thieves and I hope they burn in hell! Call a Lift or Uber but do no use them if at all possible!
I was very fortunate to have CareFlight evacuate me recently...directly from our ranch property in Bosque County. I had been caught up in a collapsing structure and the internal injuries were serious. North Bosque County EMS summoned CareFlight based upon my wife s description of the accident to the dispatcher, and the CareFlight helicopter arrived literally within minutes of the local EMS. I was conscious and aware during the entire triage process and recall vividly the professionalism and efficiency exhibited between the arriving CareFlight crew and the attending EMTs. Our next destination was the helipad at a Waco hospital with the pilot and flight nurse delivering me directly into the ER and then consulting directly with the attending ER physicians and trauma surgeon. My family and I are so grateful to have had all of these professionals on duty that day, and in particular the investment we had chosen to make several years ago in emergency evacuation coverage.
Big, Fat, lazy, slow moving, rude, paramedic arrived at a very bad accident scene involving my grandson and stepdaughter. EMS tech showed absolutely no urgency. There were three injured people at the scene. They brought two ambulances. Was told they called the helicopter for my stepdaughter who was unconscious with an apparent head injury. Helicopter was turned around due to lightning. It was a full 20 before another ambulance was dispatched to the scene from another town. My 4 year old grandson who also had a head injury acted very sleepy. EMS tech told me it was OK. It was over an hour in the hot sun on the side of the road before he was transported. Tech made innapropriate remarks to my other stepdaughter when they arrived at Baylor Dallas. Would have been better off to transport myself and would have gotten medical attention for my family a full hour sooner. If you live in Kaufman county, pray you don t get these guys if you need help.
The inter hospital ride was horrendous, and that is an understatement, They drive old beat up vans as part of their road fleet. Avoid this company at all costs.
The attendant who sat with me in the ambulance coughed constantly with no mask. Concerning because I have cancer. He was attaching heart monitoring equipment and there was a broken wire, causing it not to work. Ride was extremely bumpy and smoke was pouring from front of ambulance upon arriving at hospital. Driver was courteous and professional, but equipment, ambulance, and second medic left a lot to be desired. However, I was delivered safely.
My partner's bill came out to be $32,455.71 and he is still currently in the ICU in a coma. He's been in a medically induced coma for over 2 months now and is STILL incapacitated. CareFlite has been sending us a bill the past few months but we're unable to call his insurance to discuss their payment because we're not authorized users and CareFlite has not picked up any of our phone calls to discuss the balance. They are threatening to send this to collections while we're unable to call anyone to discuss the balance and the person who the bill belongs to is unable to pay. My partner's condition is COVID related too so you'd think it would be handled by the CARES Act but we've been unable to talk to ANYONE regarding this and now this company is threatening to put us into debt without ever speaking to us when we try to reach out. This is unacceptable.
