As a new employee I felt quite welcomed from day one. Training was very thorough and lasted 3 weeks, and I actually felt eager to get started on my own by the end of the second week. I don't usually feel like this.
I came from a customer service/retail background, and my prior position was with Altice at one of the inbound call centers. Comparatively and overall, CardWorks is much more lax in some ways, but far stricter in others. This isn't a bad thing, either. I don't feel rushed or threatened, and I feel like I can actually do my job and not be afraid to ask for help. I genuinely haven't felt this, even just starting, at other jobs.
I'm going to see how this plays out but I think things are going to work out for me here. Perhaps my review will change in time, perhaps not. For now I'm hopeful my opinion and outlook is going to be good!
I do have one "gripe", however - CardWorks should try to get more parking spots that aren't across the street.. But that's honestly nitpicking and is the least of my worries - enough so that it doesn't detract from the stars I'm rating this place right now.
