Saddly Cardinal is The only state funded opioid rehabilitation in North Carolina.My family was so relieved when the US Congress Passed out funding for states across America last month to fight the opioid crisis. Cardinal innovations is failing to meet the needs of our communities And sucking up the grant money.We are deeply disappointed with their efforts, condescending tactics, no follow up, 80% failure to help with rehabilitation. Here are the Examples of our 8 days with them.1) no callbacks even when they schedul a call back 2) fraudulent information beginning to end on services and processes 3) weve went eight days calling two/three times per day waiting to get into detox ,only to be told they had no record of our case (no-kidding) 4) very condescending, shaming style verbal conversations toward the client 5) they seem to have no detox resources to place your family member in need 6)You will be treated with degrading communication , you almost feel like a beggar unworthy of your request 7) when you call the main office as we did on three different occasions seeking a reasoning behind the inconsistencies, you will be given a different format to proceed ( similar to dealing with the DMV ) 8) this company will never except responsibility for failure of service but certainly will show you something you have done to have caused a break down the process 9) heroin has destroyed our family and our 24-year-old beautiful son, if the rest of the United States is receiving this type service for the opioid crisis there will be no resolve. 10) this drug is so powerful it s all one can do to convince the family member to go to detox and when a service like this gives them a The runaround and makes them feel dirty for calling it s almost a push to keep them in parting with their drug . When a client needs to detox they will be forced to use until detox is available - Time is your enemy 11) since this is the only government funded place in Carolina tomorrow our day nine we will start calling in the morning @9:am again ,it s so discouraging we are trapped in this bureaucracy . We encourage all who have been dealt the disappointment dealing with Cardinal innovation to join us in notifying the governor. Remember its our tax dollars being used for this company to miss manage. We can t watch our children and family members decay and some literally die. We almost get the feeling that somebody s friend had a friend at the governors office which led to this company receiving the grant to help our families fight this giant this devil. Just to be clear it is 100% my son spout is addicted to heroin.#WeDeserveBetterInAmerica
