It keeps longer than store bought and tastes fresh and delicious. It s hard to find good avocados for example but they are all great when we order. Delivery is fast and friendly. It s a winner of a find.

We LOVE Capital City Fruit! We ve been using them since the start of the pandemic. We will continue even once the world goes back to new normal . The produce is beautiful, fresh and tasty! And, if there s ever an issue they are quick to respond and make it right. In the near year we ve been ordering I think we ve had two small issues. And, we order about every other week. Highly recommend! We won t be going back to grocery store produce.
I love being able to purchase locally from Capital City Fruit and get delivery of beautiful floral arrangements, like the bulb basket, and an extra treat in the sea salt caramels. Their products make wonderful gifts which surprise recipients and they are also a great treat for myself. Quality, speed and variety can't be beat.
Great produce and fast delivery. But the boxes or styrofoam containers they come in are hard to return back if not living in the Des Moines area. They don't say we have to return them, but I don't want to waste good boxes like these. Another way to do this? At first they said they would take back.

These guys are great. Fresh, quality products. Better than I get at the grocery stores. And always arrives promptly. And they take back their packaging so I don't need to dispose of it.
