Cape & Island Kitchens Review

Building our new home in Plymouth, we felt somewhat daunted by the whole 'new kitchen' idea. We had worked renovations before, but never worked with a completely blank slate. HOW INTIMIDATING! But our wonderful builder, Michael Goodman, sent us to Cape & Islands Kitchens in Sagamore Beach . . . where we were delighted to meet the ever-effervescent, massively-creative and super fun Kevin Schlosser! He listened to us, he GOT us, he understood where we were coming from and where we wanted to go. What we ended up with is a completely unique, incredibly functional and delightful kitchen that is decidedly US!
Our style is "bringing the outdoors in" and this Rustic-yet-Polished space is absolutely perfect! As a designer, I saw the knowledge and experience Kevin brought to the table and brought to our project, which made everything turn out beautifully.
And when it came time to install the kitchen, the Cape & Islands carpenters were professional, talented, patient craftsmen, and no attention to detail was overlooked.
I'm not a person who particularly likes to cook, but I am finding such joy cooking in a kitchen that functions really well, has useful spaces for every task, and that is beautiful to boot!
I highly recommend Kevin and the Cape & Islands team to anyone undertaking any project with custom cabinetry!

More than a 5 star experience having our kitchen replaced by Cape and Island Kitchens. From the very begging Tracey our designer showed her experience and expertise by creating us a kitchen that exceeded all of our expectations .Tracey eliminated all the stress associated with the numerous amount of decisions required by taking the time to explain all of the options available for each step and provided us the guidance needed to make this a complete success.

A very professional company to work with. We were provided a calendar schedule ahead of time and the work followed the schedule very well. Everyone involved was a pleasure to work with. The quality of workmanship is excellent and we are very pleased with the result. We will definitely be repeat customers!

I have recently purchased a new home, and it needs a new kitchen. I didn't hesitate to call Cape and Islands Kitchens. I had purchased a kitchen a few years back and couldn't of been happier working with Tracey , She guided me in all the right directions from start to finish ,and at a price point I could afford.

The Cape & Islands Kitchens staff was responsive from the first interaction, and diligently followed up through the process of material selection and the scheduling of installation. I found these to be exceptionally rare qualities in any company of this nature and for those reasons they stand out. Their construction & installation people did not disappoint either and proved to be equally talented, clean and thorough.

Though I'm certain my particular remodel this time wasn't among the higher dollar value projects they've done this year, they executed it very well, and I would turn to them first next time I have a space in need of remodeling.

I can recall interacting with 9 specific individuals from this company via email, phone or in person throughout the remodel of my kitchen. The high level of competency and professionalism from each person was notable.

Lisa was the most patient designer I have ever worked with. She gave us lots of ideas on what to do with our existing space. She went above and beyond to triple check measurements and make sure things looked aesthetically pleasing, yet functional at the same time. You can't get service like this anymore! I will use her again on my next kitchen project!

Tracey was our designer and walked us through the many decisions involving our kitchen. She was patient, professional, and a pleasure to work with. We had Cape and Islands Kitchens do the install and they did an outstanding job. This is our third kitchen using Candlelight Cabinets and continue to be amazed at the quality and value. Our experience was very positive and would highly recommend Cape and Islands Kitchens and Candlelight Cabinetry.
