Disgusted with them one of there trucks crushed the side of my vehichle being impatient for gas, trying to resolve this is ridiculous. Next steps wway and courthouse. Filing charges!!!!

So you can't drink the water in Wilmington without a reverse osmosis filter, they randomly skip sending out bills, and they have multiple metering fees instead of just one. Show me the separate sewer meter on a house.

I just noticed the CFPUA reply... Thank you for the filters. I have talked to customer service about not receiving my bills each billing cycle. It has never been successful so I just call the office every other month and sit on hold and then find out what I owe.

As for the extra meter fee for a sewer meter it is most certainly true that sewer is based upon water use. It is not true that it is industry practice to charge a metering fee for both as their is only one meter. Our charge is easily twice what you pay in Raleigh or Greensboro.

As a real estate professional in the area, the staff is always so helpful when it comes to confirming information about various properties in town. They are always top notch with accurate information, courtesy, and professionalism. Thank you so much for a job well done.

Probably the worst thing about Wilmington. Even more than the crime rate, poor road conditions, and low housing opportunity - CFPUA has got to be the bane of Wilmington's existence.

Just set up new services for a house I closed on today and it couldn't have been easier. The associate with super friendly and I was in and out in 5 minutes.

Ms./ Mrs. Wanda is the kindest, most helpful person. She let me know what I needed to start services and had me email my documents to her. Very shortly after I did so, she replied saying welcome and that I was set to go. I have never had such swift customer service. Her kindness and patience meant a lot, as I have never really had to do things like this before. Thank you so much!

CPFUA has been nothing but helpful each time I have called them. They were great to work with even moving from out of state and getting service switched over into my name before I even arrived in Wilmington.

I would give no stars if I could. We moved and conveniently received an astronomical final invoice: for the final month, it was three times more than the previous 4 months combined. Terrible customer service.

CFPU came out to replace a broken water meter box. Before digging the old box out they didn t mark the lines and cut our internet line. The AT&T box is about 6 inches from the meter box they were replacing. Unbelievable

I have had to make two separate calls to Cape Fear Public Utility this month and I was so pleased after both experiences!! Not only did they answer the phones VERY promptly, but they were very kind, very helpful and even cheerful in tone. I typically do not get on to write reviews, but I had to give a shout-out to CFPU. Keep up the great work. :) Just a simple gesture of a genuinely positive tone can make a world of difference in a frustrating situation. :) Thank you, CFPU!
