Canyon Ridge Christian Church Review

Just an amazing place to worship the King most high!

We take our three children there to church every Saturday. We moved to Las Vegas a year ago and visited some churches and we started going to Canyon Ridge because we thought it would be good for the kids. Last week after picking up my son in childrens church I was advised that he had a bad day at church. We decided this week to let our son attend adult church with us. When picking up my daughter, I advised his teacher that he went to adult church with us because of his behavior last week. I asked the teacher if he has any problems with our son to let us know, we would take care of it, he told me he almost kicked my son out of church for good. I have been going to church all my life and I have never heard of a child getting kicked out of church. This was embarrassing to me and my husband. This was the male teached in the 3rd to 5th grade.

Didn't enjoy the service at all, the pastor just talked about himself and his family. Was very boring!!

Still deaf community problem., because they don t believe KJV Bible but few.

It's the best Church ever!!! GOD always speaks to me about exactly what's been on my mind the week before through the pastors.

Excellent Christian Church, all are welcome! I disagree that the Sermons have no inspiration, I am inspired every time I go! I have always been able to relate the sermon with something that is currently happening in my life!

The property is beautiful and ther is a lot going on. The Word was preached and worship was good. I will go again. I like that they had a parking place for first time guest. Very welcoming

Worship was weak, Word was water down, traffic insane. Money predominate. But Jesus was there.

I walked into this church right years ago feeling anxious I did not know why but I prayed this day.
The following day my son had a freak accident was hit by a pool pump lid and sliced his ear and the side of his head. My son lost his hearing from the ear but he is living a true Miracle.
Some how God brought me near Canyon Ridge and this is now my home church bringing peace and Happiness to everyone .

Wonder service I really like this church it has so much to offer everyone

This is a beautiful Church very nice it's a Mega Church that means they must appeal to the masses. People come here because it's safe. You could go there for years and never meet a soul. Sermons are simple a short and sweet. The service is one hour thats it .If your looking to have a close relationship with the pastor or feel like part of a community this is not the place. Funny thing is service is one hour and most people show up late? I'm use to meeting friends and being a part of something and a church that wants to learn about its members and try to help if your as I am then look for a smaller more personal choice. If you want fast simple and safe no one here is going to tell you what or what not to do they dont want to offend anyone thats why people go here it reminds me of a large gym where everyone has their headphones on and no one even knows your there?

My place to go look for comfort and spiritual guidance.

I've been to many different types of churches and this is by far my favorite. The pastors are great and the band is top notch.

I ve never met more snobbish judgmental people in my life till I went to a Sunday service. All they seem to want is your money no wonder why the all the church s are so big and fancy

Mega church in the north part of Las Vegas. The campus is amazing and reminds me of a small Saddleback church. Kevin is the lead pastor and has built a wonderful commute of believers. They also have a small chapel for a more intimate and traditional setting.

Good message. Music terrible. Worship team think they are performing on stage not worshiping and they scream, not sing.

my excellent visit is when i love this church for being forgiving and i want to forget this ugly past, and with the help of Jesus, and i so happy to be with my lady here i have an bunch story to tell about or two lady that help me to grow and become more christlike. i really enjoyed the pastors from central and canyon ridge and renewing life center for helping me to grow to be like God, and learning to love other people in the church. i love you all. thank you and God blessed

Canyon Ridge Christian Church is a big family out here, and a great place to fellowship and be part of such a large big God family.

You need to go to experience what you might be missing.

Messages are solid from God's Word. Worship is high quality. Attended regularly when we lived in Las Vegas and visit whenever we come back. Staff is super friendly, very caring and will contact you within an hour or so if you wish. Trained counseling professionals are available to meet with you.

I'm not a church person nor do I come here often. That being said it's a nice church with friendly staff, if I was a Christian church going person I would love to come here

I was attending this Church almost ten years. I loved the music, the message and missed it while we were gone. We move away one year ago to find a kidney transplant for my son. We were sent back here. We were so broke and hungry. I asked this church for food assistance and they were not willing to help. Since then we have recovered thanks to God and close friends but I am looking for a church that actually cares about "people" and not about the $$$ they get. I know the $$ are important also.

I hadn't attended a Church service in over 20 years, Canyon Ridge was the most comfortable service I'd ever been to. No judgement, I'm even volunteering due to their amazing energy and mission.

I love this church me and my family started going to this church like 2 months ago then I started volunteering there on the weekends but now I can say I'm a childcare worker there and I enjoy it so much and met so many amazing people I love it!

An amazing experience attending this church! I was raised Catholic, and while I still believe there is a magnificent beauty within the Catholic mass and traditions, I found it difficult to truly connect spiritually. I attended CRCC while visiting my son and his family. I felt an IMMEDIATE warmth and peace from the people and the pastor, one of which I had been missing while practicing my Catholic faith. I watch every weekend online since I no longer live in Las Vegas. I have yet to find any other church that moves me as this one does. This church is REAL. COME AS YOU ARE is not just a sales pitch. I feel God working through the ministry of this church and can finally understand the meaning of His Grace. Yay God!!

What I love most about Canyon is that everyone is given an equal chance to be involved and accepted! Love all the pastors and staff!

To the person that left a review regarding a "little girl with a guitar and tiny range", you should have taken a second to think and realize that a "little girl" doesn't choose the song selection! But continue to take shots at a "little girl" if it makes you feel better! I guess the Justin Timberlake song bothered you also that the "big guy with a guitar" sang the next week?

The whole thing is canned and not spirit based. If God showed up they would sell him a coffee and asleep him to take a seat.

This is the perfect church if one is interested in developing a deep personal relationship with God. There are many insights on how to rely upon Him and include Him in our everyday lives (not just a Sunday kind of thing).

Nice people and a great time in worship.,The message was timely and makes you think about how I can champion the people in my life.

This is a beautiful church. I attend each year for GLS, and have a wonderful time. It is very organized, clean, and has a welcoming vibe. Though I do not attend the church it seem as though they have multiple thriving ministries. The youth building looks very nice and the waterfall is an amazing addition.

Positive, Hopeful and inspiring! Bring your whole family. A family that worships together, stays together!

i give them credit for the nice colorful lights, and the contemporary rock style music. But the entire message was a self help, felt needs, watered down message, that was really nothing more than a promotion to join a small group. I would NOT recommend this Church!

Luv drews messages if it was only his chruch I'd become a part of it like all chruchs ...they have clicks. That part is human music is awesome needs more color but that's like most places they stick to there own I'm multi so this is my voice. Take it as you will in JESUS NAME luv your effort.......

It was are 1st time at the church,we enjoyed the service. I don't know if we missed some of the worship, we would like to hear more of it, we arrived maybe alittle late 11 min .We will be back after visiting my son in Washington.

This church is the way to worship God to feel good about being a believer. A keen visitor sees a welcoming community, love, respect and faith. What an organic church! God is here.

Whether you are looking for traditional or a contemporary church experience- CR has both. Great experience for the kids as well. My children beg to go. And the new pastor is an awesome teacher.

Friday evenings food is served at 6pm for a $3 donation. Come spend a Friday evening with an Upbeat Positive Fellowship!!

1st time visit they worship praise team in dark and I turned my cellphone light on the man sitting behind me told the usher the light was a problem I prayed in the spirit,Holy Spirit gave me words to my pray what God said on there conduct and left. And I forgive but I don't think i will go back.

Love this church....awesome people and events for an entire family. Great programs throughout the week with various times. No need to worry aboit childcare for events it ia usually provided. Friday night celebrate recovery is the best starting 5:30 for a dinner and ends with smalls groups and cafe chatting at 9 00. Vome try it out dont take anyones word for it experience Gods love in person.

Good church for New Christians in Christ. But sermons Very Very weak & shallow.

It's more like a concert hall than a church. More (very loud) music than sermon. I found the sermons to be on the shallow side.

Homophobic church of the variety: Hate the sin, love the sinner, which is one of the more insulting forms of homophobia. Pastor Odor is partially responsible for anti-gay bills in Uganda and by extension in 37 countries in Africa. Some of those countries have a penalty of death for being gay. Thanks Canyon Ridge. Way to spread the word of God!

We love the chapel which is next to the big church. We prefer it because we can sing along because we are familiar with the songs and it is not as loud. In the big church we don't know any of the songs so we just stand there.

Great church for families and they have a good message

Love this church! It's always amazing to listen to pastor Kevin's interpretation of God's word. Plus I love the worship team!

This church is amazing. Every week I leaving feeling refrushened spiritually. The messages are great, not too much pressure abhor money, and very pisitive. I love this church.

This is a great place for the younger generation to worship. The kids ministry is wonderful, the message is word driven & the people are everyday people just tryin to follow God the best they can.

Don't care much for church. Not spirit filled. Big church. Seem to focus on growth.
