So far it has been a pleasant experience! The nurse practitioners, counselors, and staff are very nice and it s a Very clean environment.
I went there 2 years ago it was nice the employees were dope they truly help you there and they care about the patients feelings. The staff are so caring I never had one hardship there I got into a couple altercations but they were handled well they are genuinely caring people who work there.
The residential unit of this facility is completely unprofessional, unsafe, dirty, and overall not a proper healing/recovery environment. The fact that the children have access to items such as curling irons, jewelry, even razors with minimal supervision and poor staff has me utterly concerned. This facility even had mold growing on the ceiling and BEDBUGS!! A few children even had scabies but I'm willing to bed none of the parents were informed. There are riots and fights on a daily basis, self harm, which would be less of an issue if certain items weren't allowed in the premises. If you want your child to recover and get well, this is not the place. It may seem all wonderful and great but keep in mind that you don't know what exactly goes on behind closed doors so be mindful of the environment you out your child in. They're several other much better options not too far from Jackson such as Parkwood residential in olive branch mississippi. I also do NOT recommend compass or madison oaks academy.
