CANON clearly adheres to the principle of planned obsolescence. Our architectural firm ordered a large format printer four and a half years ago, which we have used reasonably efficiently. Three weeks ago the motherboard gave up the ghost, forcing us, given the very high cost of repairs, to buy a new printer. As we strive to limit the impact of our projects on the planet's resources, it seems that this mindset is far removed from that of this brand. The loss of this essential tool for our work forced us to replace it, hoping that it does not slam again. The price of the 5-year warranty is that of the purchase cost of the device, this obsolescence therefore seems to be confirmed by the company's commercial policy.

Even 1 star is too much. After less than half a year, my device no longer works. (Canon Pixma MG5752). The leaf supply often caused malfunctions from the start and now no longer works. They do not have replacement devices. As a graphic designer I have been without a printer for a few weeks now. This is undoubtedly the last time I bought something from Canon.

Een schande - Really terrible - it's total disgust !!! I have a printer MG2450 - and received the info that my ink absorber pads were full. Cannot find on the canon site how to change this. A good German video on youtube is however available. Only impossible to clean the pads - they tear so much they are full !! (not received notifications from my printer before). I've been trying to find where to buy it for 3 days. Help ZERO at Canon - I am sent from one number to another ("I transfer you") - to return to the starting point - and no matter who I have on the phone, nobody knows what I'm talking about! !!! No concrete response by e-mail except to contact the stores that sell printer canon (and who all respond: we don't know what it is ", Bravo customer service !! And that's how we consume and how we push to buy new equipment - when you just have to replace a "pad" !! (and the star, you have to put it, otherwise you can't even post !!!!)
