Candlelight Dinner Playhouse Review

Just saw the Newsies, what a great show and the food was good.

Great experience, food was great, the staff was awesome. If I lived closer I would be a season ticket holder.

The people were really good and fun. They work so hard and it shows. They try and incorporate as much fun as they can before, during, and after the show. The food is really good too. They make up a whole menu based on just the show, so it's always a good idea to check ahead of time. That way you're not caught off guard.

We all enjoyed our time together and wonderful play, great services. We will be back for more good times!

Great food, amazing actors, production is always amazing. Love this place!

The shows are invariably very good, sight of the stage is usually pretty good unless you get very tall people sitting in front of you in which case you may have to move your head a little to see everything as they move around the stage but that holds true for most venues. The food is good in general, not huge portions but ok for the price. The serving staff are the players on the stage so it's nice to have the interaction with them and they are always very friendly.

I went and saw Mary Poppins at the Candlelight. It was a very fun event.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was quite enjoyable having the cast members help serve the tables.
The effects for making Mary fly in and out of the story we're lovely.
They had a good voice cast for singing the songs.
Their choreography was distinctive and playful.
The child actors for Jane and Michael did a very good job.
The venue has good wheelchair accessibility. It is good at accommodating families, even with younger children. The flashing ice cubes or production related souvenir toys are very helpful to individuals who may not be used to sitting for a full play.
The business is clean and professional.
I recommend it.
Tickets are always purchased in advance and frequently sell out. If you are wanting to see you something in a particular season bye early, or get to season pass.

Love the owners and how they bring variety each season! The cast members are generally VERY talented (the accents can be a little cringe worthy at times), and I absolutely love how the menu changes to match the theme of the show! So innovative and fun!

Love the shows mostly. Good ok. Frozen desserts were disappointing.

We really loved Evita! The vocals were simply amazing! The did excellent casting with this show. I was shocked to see how empty it was. I felt bad that nearly two rows behind us were empty, we did go on a weeknight so that could be why. The seating was comfortable but we did get a little cold. They had a decent drink selection. I wasn't completely thrilled with the food. They did have options that were naturally gluten free, so I really can't complain. Maybe the upgraded options are better? Either way we'll be back! Can't wait for 42nd Street! It's my mom's favorite musical - she want to bring her tap students!

I am a season ticket holder and enjoy going to see the shows at the Candlelight Dinner Playhouse. It is a lot of fun, the entertainment is great and servers (when they are not on stage) are friendly and fun. Food selection is nice variety, and I usually find something that I like.

We saw Disney's Beauty and the Beast on a Sunday matinee. The staff was amazing and friendly from the minute we walked up to Will-call to get our tickets. The actors were great, the music was wonderfully done, and the food was really good. This was my wife's birthday present, and she couldn't have been happier! We will be back for more shows!
