Terrible bank. They set absurdly low limits on every type of transfer- my money feels trapped. None of their customer service people can ever help me or offer any practical suggestions. I've had accounts with big banks and other small banks, and I've never encountered such abysmal service anywhere. They are the literal worst- you'd be better off burying your money in your back yard.
I am not sure who the people giving these reviews are a butt I have been a member of this Bank for the last 10 years. I have always found them to be very helpfull. Brighton and Greece both have Sunday hours, and every other branch have ever been to has Saturday hours. On top of that their facilities are second to none and there's always coffee waiting for you. And not just one type that have several flavors as well as tea and hot chocolate.
Pleasant as always. Efficient & courteous. Helpful with being unctuous. Persoalized & often recognized verbally by name upon entering.
I've never encountered a more frustrating loop. They offer no loan payment option through the online portal and continue to tack late fees on each of my successful payments. Considered opening an account, but certainly not after this ridiculous experience
They are great and works with people. Customers call center are very friendly and helpful. I never have any issues. I had bigger bank before but it wasn t good.
Worst customer service I ve ever had. They take no notes per call. I ve called in 5 days in a row spoke to a different rep and got a different story each time. All the stories contradict each other. Then I repeat what I was told from last rep to next rep and told that is incorrect. Nobody knows how to do an international transfer. I m trying to put money into the bank and they are fighting me. I even had my other bank call several times to help and everytime they are hung up on or nothing gets done. I ve never seen people act less professional in my life. Not to mention the fact that nobody seems to know how to do a task or admit they don t. Now my money is in limbo and I can t even close the account and Run not walk away from this place.
Ive been with this bank since I moved to the Canandaigua area back in 1987. It has a small town homey feel and most of the time I know the first name of the tellers I see. I have not had any problem with loans. I'm sure everyone has their own tale to tell but mine has been a positive experience with this bank.
I paid off a loan. A month later, they tried to take another payment, which resulted in an insufficient funds fee from my other bank. After contacting them, I was essentially told "too bad". Customer service was rude and unprofessional. Their website is very unorganized as well. I was told it was my fault because I didn't set up the payment properly on their website. Even though this is how I was told to set it up initially when I called and set up the online account access. Not sure how it's my fault that their website is trying to collect a payment for a loan that was closed. And it is definitely not my fault if something was set up incorrectly when the same customer service instructed me to do it this way in the first place.
I'm glad I'm done with them, and I'd never do business with them again.
