Enjoyed visiting the museum with my son, we both love history. Seeing, being up close to the planes
such as the Lancaster, reading and seeing pictures of specific people and times in history, such as the arrow from creation to its destruction is memorable. Thank you

Went here for Samko & Miko Toy sale. Busy, wasn't impressed with having to park all the way in the back for there not to be a back door entrance. Bring your own wagon or cart. Helps with the shopping. They should have more visible food at this place. I think it would make a ton!!

Awesome place with true priceless pieces of history! You can do everything from going for a flight in one of the last two flying Lancaster Bombers to seeing an Orenda Iroquois engine from the CF-105 Avro Arrow and several vintage aircraft! Price is well worth it!

We enjoyed the personal tour from this gentleman so much. So very Canadian polite and informative! His personal touch even impressed my daughter surprisingly. Great inventory of diverse aircraft. Most of the aircraft had an interesting story. Thank you so much.

This museum is great. I swung by a few weekends ago looking for something to do on a Saturday. They are well prepared for COVID, and they always greet you with smiling eyes. I will always support this museum as they preserve our physical history. I always feel such pride when I see the Lancaster Bomber flying over the area.

Phenomenal experience...great history lesson...but with the actual huge planes in front of you...and wonderful volunteers to tell you actual stories. Plus it brings to life how brave these young men were and the sacrifice they made so we could live in freedom.

This is a great museum with an amazing collection of old war planes, many of them still air worthy and fly! The yearly air show is definitely a must see as well where the planes actually perform in the show.

My 77 year-old father and my 7 year-old son loved climbing inside the planes and hearing about Canadian military history from the engaging volunteers there. What a great place to visit! (My wife and I enjoyed ourselves, too.)

Exceptional on all levels.

Exceptional on all levels.
Historical, patriotic and a true learning experience.
Best curated museum of its kind.
Kids love too!!!
Especially the gift shop and photo opportunities.
The venue provides parking at no cost and can be rented for special occasions.
Remembrance Day here offers a grand level of respect paid to our brave veterans and soldiers.
This museum is tremendous.

We had friends over from Ottawa for the long weekend. John wanted to see it while they were here. Only $15 each to get in. Had a great look around at all the planes, then bought some souvenirs on the way out. Highly recommended. Great place to take company or just take the family for something different.

This military museum that is well worth the drive and regular visits. It's conveniently located outside of Hamilton and is also active Airfield. It houses in restores one of only two working flying Lancaster's. It's a very interesting museum with a fully outfitted gift shop and hanger with replicas models and even planes being restored. There's something for all ages here and one of the nicest aspects is the planes that you can climb into on the tarmac. It's well worth spending a day here and definitely bring the kids. Plenty of parking with wheelchair accessibility

Amazing place to take a trip back to the past it really makes you appreciate what Canada has done for WW2. Fun for the whole family everyone that works here is very knowledgeable and takes pride in what they do. Super place . I would recommend this museum to family's and solo travellers willing to take a trip back in time.

From the start of my wedding journey, until the very end the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum guided me and helped me through every aspect of my special day. Christine, Laren, and Cathy are all very wonderful women, thank you so much for all your help. The food was amazing - even though we were late getting to dinner (just soooo many opportunities for great photos in there!) the atmosphere is unlike any other and even though my DJ forgot the lighting, Christine and staff went out of their way and found some extra lighting they had for us.

Very cool, just wish they had a plane that you could have had a tour in like the bush plane museum. Awesome to see the Lancaster and we get to see the Mitchell in the air quite a bit so it was cool to see up close

Lots to see here. They have only one of two flying Lancasters in the world. Remarkable displays guide you the amazing history of ww2 aircraft. Don't rush when you here and plan to spend a few hours looking over our remarkable history.

Attended kids fest with over 12 bouncy castles. Amazing time for kids and walking around the planes was fantastic. So much to see and the Lancaster was in its winter overhaul and really neat to see it on display as they work on it. Worth visiting!

Amazing museum with some stunning exhibits. Great facilities and absolutely fantastic staff, and volunteers who make your visit so memorable. No hesitation whatsoever in recommending you visit, especially if you would like to get up really close to the aircraft or even pay to fly in one of the aircraft, even fly in one of only 2 air worthy Lancaster bombers in the world!

A unique warplane Museum dedicated to the service of the Canadian men and women in the Royal Air Force. Ample parking and easy access with knowledgeable staff make this Museum a very pleasant experience coupled with the actual airplanes that are still around and the very well made virtual reality Lancaster crew experience this Museum seems to offer a fantastic experience for the whole family.

Fantastic as always. Get chatting with the right staff and you ll be on a Private tour before you know it. Everyone there is super passionate and knowledgeable. The canteen is basic but reasonably priced (my big brekky was 9 bucks including coffee) the kids love sitting in the planes and during the summer months going on the tarmac and watching the planes come in. 2nd year I ve bought a membership which is by far your best bag for the buck if you plan to visit frequently!

Comprehensive, interactive, and self guided exhibits. Tours are available as well. Some of the smaller planes are still in use and you can see them leave the hangar and fly. Plenty of opportunities for photos as there is a wide range of restored planes, as well as planes currently being restored.
