Our sons have gone here the past two years and it's a great summer camp. They are particularly thoughtful about food and have a varied lineup throughout the week. The staff are competent and easy to get along with. A great camp.

This is the second year that our son has gone to camp warwa. He did the adventure boy's horseback riding both times. He loves going to camp and we love hearing all his stories of the fun things they did.

Step son loved this camp, his first time, and was very hesitant when was told it was already paid for and he was definitely going. Picked him up and inquired about his time, and he said he wanted to go again next year! Excellent job, Camp Warwa!

What an amazing camp!! Even though it was extremely cold, the camp staff were fabulous! Activities and warm up times to keep us going throughout the day, and delicious food to replenish our energy helped make it a great weekend! Hope to come back in the future, preferably when it's warmer out, as it was an absolute blast!!! This place would look phenomenal in the summertime.

My daughter was a late-bloomer regarding going to a sleep-away camp, and finally took the plunge this summer, at age 12. She was very nervous as we went through the on-site registration process, but after I left (and worried about her all week!) she had a great time. Now she wants to go again next year and take her little brother, too.
As others have said, we are so happy that this great camp is secular, and welcoming for all!

Both our children attended camp Warwa for the first time this summer and absolutely loved it. The camp staff were amazing and both our kids will be attending in years to come. Very happy and proud that this is a secular camp. Highly recommend it!!

This camp has got it all! Activities for all ages. Friendly and helpful staff. The food is definitely geared towards nutrition which is nice. The rooms for the campers are perfect and the buildings are newer. This would be my first choice for a camp for kids. Give them a call to find out more. I hear this camp books up fast so don't delay!

My son loved his experience so much last year that we wanted to go again this year. A great way to build independence for young kids. He missed home like crazy and the councillors did a great job to help him overcome home sickness and he enjoyed the rest of the week. They have great activities and camp attendants that make it super fun!

Both of our kids have attended several camps here at Warwa and absolutely love it. They always come home with great stories, and big smiles!

This was the first camp our daughter ever attended overnight two summers ago, and she loved it! She was so excited to go back this past summer and once again she had a wonderful time!

Both kids enjoyed the food any time they have been and said the camp staff were awesome. We are thrilled with how happy the kids have been every time they have attended camp here wether it be through school, or for summer/spring break camp! Camp Warwa never disappoints.

At the end of the summer, my daughter ranks her camps so we know which ones to book next year -- and Camp Warwa was far and away her favourite not just of the year, but (quote) "OF ALL TIME". As a parent, the level of detail in the planning, organization and overall execution of the camp made me feel comfortable leaving my most important asset in their care. The leaders were kind and caring, the food was allegedly amazing...especially the tortellini. She'll be back next year for sure.

This was my Girls' 5th Yr with WARWA.

This was my Girls' 5th Yr with WARWA.
My 12yr old has high functioning Autism & my 11yr old has ADHD. I have sent them w meds (no judging pls) every year & Warwa has always done the best to have the girls take them on time & everyday; Enabling them to stay focused, non-nervous & happy @ Camp.
I was worried in the early years about 'homesickness' but the Councillor's have been specially trained for this kind of anxiety and to this day I can thank Warwa for having helped enable my two with the independence & resiliency that they have going into their Teens.
One other factor that was important to me when I sought out a Camp many yrs ago was that it be non-religious affiliated as my girls have only Theological religious background.
I will be encouraging my girls to become JR Councilor's & you don't have to hesitate or worry to send you child to Camp @ Warwa.

They have some cool activities to do and fully functioning washrooms and showers. The food they serve is terrible though and they are rather stingey (2 thin slices watermelons pieces and 1 apple slice for afternoon snack - and not a slice more!!). We took a youth group here for the weekend and were told that quiet time is at 9 and that it is a dry camp. Despite this, there was a large group of college kids playing very loud music and drinking. Our kids knew that they were playing drinking games and partying around the fire, after we were told this was definitely not allowed. When we discussed our disappointment to the camp manager the following day, he clearly could not have cared less and didn't even offer an apology for offering a very different experience than what their website suggests. They also allowed that group to change up their activities, after we were told we couldn't, so that 3 groups were then trying to do the same activity at once when it should have just been our originally scheduled group. Our leader, Gaya, was fantastic though.

"We had the Best week of summer at Camp Warwa!" is what my kids have been saying every time they are asked about what they did in the summer. Needless to say that I am grateful to have found non religion affiliated group of amazing people that are kind and respectful to people and nature to play, coach and motivate our kids to enjoy the outdoors and other children. Thank you and your donors, this was an experience we were able to afford, you saved me few times from feeling guilty and gave endless memories to my children. THANK you AGAIN< see you next spring again! ( please send me a note if you have winter programs again!)

This was a great overnight family camp location. It was clean and staff were really friendly and helpful.
The activities could be organized a little better so that there isn t so much waiting and the kids can try everything. We were disappointed that we couldn t try everything they had there to do and as a single mom with kids that have a 4 year age gap, it made it so my youngest didn t get to participate as much.
All that said, we plan to go again and look forward to making the spring family camp a tradition.
