This is the best university gym that I ve been to. UW-Madison gym is very comparable, but Columbia underground gym is a joke. You'll enjoy the Olympics standard swimming pool and wall-climbing. I heard the mini-golf simulator is also very cool, but I never tried it out. Another credit to the CRC online registration website, which makes social distance possible during pandemic times.
Excellent place to work out, exercise, and get in shape. Has any piece of workout equipment you can imagine, as well as a swimming pools, basketball courts, indoor soccer areas, and so much more. Be sure to sign up for classes as well. The instructors are well educated and enjoy helping others exercise. It can get crowded at times. But the extended hours can help you pick a time to work around the crowds.
This is an excellent gym with all the equipment and facilities I need. All GT students know this already and I know many alumni who maintain an alumni membership after graduation particularly if you want to swim. Things can get pretty busy in the evenings as with any gym but there is plenty of space to get a workout in anyway. I ve also rented portions of the facility for events and it has always been an excellent experience. The staff has been professional and more than helpful during planning and execution of the event. Parking can be a bit of a pain but as long as your guests know ahead of time we haven t had many complaints.
Beautiful recreation center!! The pool is breathtaking and definitely worth a visit.
Great campus and venue for swim meets. Can't beat a spot used by olympians. Parking is easy to figure out and buildings and facilities are well kept.
Not only is Georgia Tech a great school - it has one of the greatest pools in the county. The Georgia Tech pool was once the Olympic pool when the Olympic games were held in Atlanta in 1996. The competition pool is ten lanes/50 meters and is the perfect depth. It is a very fast pool. Seating is great for coaches and spectators. Attached is a diving well used for 1m,3m, and 10 m diving. Also in the facility is a great gym/workout area for students.
I miss the smoothie place before it closed :( the gym is great they keep it clean and have all the equipment and many floors for exercise and swimming.
I would give a 200/100 if possible. Basketball court, gym, swimming pool...Just cannot say enough of how good this place is. Btw, you will also have chance here to experience swimming in 50m-long Olympic track during summer semester.
It was 5-star before the pandemic. The management of reservation slots is poorly conceived, grouping multiple floors into single time slots which fill within minutes of opening.
