My step daughter went and she wrote every day saying she was having the best time. She was able to keep in touch with Bunk1 notes... (they are not allowed their cell phones, so they provide with a small fee, Bunk1 notes)She said she had great roommates in her cabin whom she hopes to be long-standing friends with. She said she learnt sooo much playing her flute and instructor has said she has excelled and she has improved dramatically. She said she loved the activities; waterskiing, zip-lining, and so many more water sports and games to list... Overall such a great experience and opportunity for the kids!
She would love to return next year..

The staff were nice and chill. Not to mention the activities like high ropes and zip lining were fun. The food was okay, it looks like they rushed the food at the end of every meal. The cabins were okay but the floor was dirty, when we woke up it was freezing. We were here for a school trip for 5 days and we got used to it after 2-3 days.

This was my first overnight camp trip. I loved it SOOOOOOO much. I even got married... (Inside Joke)
It was so much fun! I would go again but I got SOOOOO tired so quickly because of all the walking. And we couldn't hear the alarm so we had to set up our own

I went with my school here for a 4 day and 3 night trip, and this wasn't exactly what I was expecting based on there website and some reviews.
#1- the food. Most meals were terrible, especially the mac-n-cheese. Some like the fries and boneless chicken wings were pretty good. I think they didn't want the kids to be super hyper because there was barely any sugar! The drinks were watered down till they tasted like water and there was no salt or pepper shakers. And only some deserts like ice cream cones and sherbet were ok.
#2- the Bugs. everywhere, literally everywhere there was bugs. Even spraying bug spray straight at them didn't do anything. mosquitos especially and spiders over your cabin beds in the ceilings.
#3- the weather. Now I know that they can't control the weather but when we went it was rainy except for the last day when it was warm. Also it was colder in the cabin than outside and the mornings inside were FREEZING! Make sure to bring an extra blanket even if you don't have space and have to bring an extra bag, its worth it!
#4- The activities. The activities were great, I was a bit sad I had to miss trapeze because of the rain but the rest was fun. Also if they tell you to lick a rock on the nature walk because it tastes like "lime" dont do it, the counselors told us it was a joke after we all did it.
#5- The staff. They were pretty nice overall. Some were really cringy when dancing, like doing the shoot and the floss but overall pretty helpful.
#6- The cabin. The cabin was pretty clean when we got there. The bunk beds are pretty uncomfortable to sleep on and there are lots of bugs on the ceilings and lights and a few ceiling holes. The room easily gets dirty though. The showers are small but cleanish with curtains and no doors and the curtain hanger even fell when I was in the shower so i didn't enjoy that. It can get really dirty or smelly so be sure to open the window or bring febreeze or perfume or something.
I hope this review helped you as some others helped me.

This camp has beautiful grounds, with a variety of recreational amenities, buildings, wildlife, and mosquitos (naturally). It's also a huge space, which takes about 20 minutes to walk from end to end, but they also have accessible roads. They also have a ton of cabins, usually split up between a boy's campus and girl's campus, some being accessible as well. The recreational staff there works very well with kids (for some reason a large portion of them are Australian??) and the owner is a very sweet person. Food is as good as it can get for a camp that caters to hundreds in it's dining hall. I've been here several times throughout the years for band camps and have only seen improvements in everything they do.

I've been here myself for 5 days. To be clear, the camp itself is good, but there are dirty dishes, dirty windows in your cabin. The main problem are spiders and mosquitoes with their nests and believe me, the bug spray won't help you. Students are happy with their activities at camp. Come here prepared.
