If you are considering summer camp for your child,...

If you are considering summer camp for your child, take look at Camp Marist - the values and spirit of the Marist Brothers makes this camp a unique place. All three of my children have been to Camp Marist. The location is beautiful, the staff is extremely dedicated, and the activities and fun at camp is immeasurable! My children have loved every minute of it. No day is ever the same! My children have made lasting friendships with children from all over the US and world.

I have been attending Camp Marist for the past nine summers, and I can honestly say that each and every one has been the best summer of my life. I had my first Camp Marist experience in 2005 at age 11. I immediately felt like I belonged there, like I was part of a family. This sense of belonging continued through my five years as a camper, as well as my two years as a CIT and the past two years as a counselor. As a camper, I looked forward to participating in the many different activities that Camp Marist has to offer. During the school year, I could not wait to return to camp so I could see my friends and favorite counselors from the previous summers. Each year that I returned was another new, unique, and amazing experience, with no two summers being the same, but each one having a positive impact on my life. Over these nine years, Camp Marist has helped me grow as a person. Thanks to camp, I have received the opportunity to gain close friendships that have lasted over the years with people from all over the world. Camp Marist provides campers with a safe environment full of fun activity and opportunity for social growth. I would not be the person I am today if I had not attended Camp Marist. I consider 22 Abel Blvd. Effingham, NH to be my home, and I look forward to returning every year. The two months that I spend at camp over the summer are the highlight of my year, and I count down the days until the next season starting from the day I head home from camp. Anyone who knows me can tell you that I never stop talking about camp during the year; I always have a story or two to tell about my summers spent on the beautiful property and the endless friendships that I have made with so many amazing people. Camp Marist is a special place that I will always call home.

Seeing my nephews and my niece grow up at Camp Marist has been a great joy in my life. I loved it so much, that I became a staff member so I could be part of this great place! Camp gave them a sense of belonging, great role models and a love of nature. They have grown up to be fine people and my oldest nephew is waiting until his daughter will be old enough to become a camper. As for me, I can't wait to begin my begin my 22nd summer at Camp Marist!

I used to be a camper for 3 years in a row. Pine view, lakeview and then brook side. I m from Quebec, Montreal. I thought that it was going to be a stupid camp where the staff is only waiting for their pay checks, but it wasn t. It s a real USA old camp. Rifles guns, boats lessons, ski doo, horse back riding, great food and great party s at the program and much more. I strongly recommend this camp for your teen or kid. He will never be the same. That s why it s called for the best summer of your life. And you what? It is true!!!

Camp Marist isn't just an ordinary summer camp. I've attended camp as a camper and counselor for a combined total of 8 years, and I can honestly say it has made a huge impact on my life. Being at Camp Marist, away from home, has taught me how to be more independent and I've also made life long friends who are from all over the world. Camp Marist holds a special place in my heart and I can honestly say that the two months per year that I spend there are the highlight of my year. I highly recommend sending your child to Camp Marist because the activities are great, the staff is well trained, and there is no better experience (for a kid) than going away to summer camp!
