Camp Lone Star is a place laser-focused on showing kids the grace and love of Jesus Christ. I HIGHLY recommend sending your kid/s. Particularly pre-teens and teens. It's amazing!

We love Camp Lone Star! I went to camp here when I was a child and now my kids go here. The counselors are on fire with God's love. What a blessing Camp Lone Star is!

The incredible ministry that is camp lone Star could not be given due justice in a simple review, but to give a tiny snippet, camp lone Star is the single most intentional place/ministry/group of people I have ever had the blessing of meeting. There is such a direct focus on the gospel and on connecting the people that come to this place with that gospel it sets CLS apart from any other camp. Being on camp you surely begin to quickly realize that this is not the traditional camp experience where the focus is on just fun activities and memories, but the focus is on using those things very specifically for showing every person who comes in the great extent to which they are loved and pursued by their God.

I love Camp Lone Star.

Stayed overnight at Camp Lone Star for a group event and had a great time. Lots of wide open spaces for doing things, and the cabins were both comfortable and quiet. It's just outside of La Grange, so you're a super short drive from food or whatever else you forgot to bring with you, and it's a very easy trip from Austin straight down 71.

This is a great location for a retreat. The food and amenities are excellent. There is a nice lake with hiking trails. There are outdoor cooking areas and sports faculties.

Going to camp every summer is like going "Home" to so many teens... Christ centered retreats are true blessings!

A great variety of camping experiences.. beautiful night sky viewing. Keith the camp director is the best!!

A family favorite for one 50 years. Visited for their annual worship, BBQ and auction. Their major fundraiser. Good food. Good surroundings. Inspiring service.

Awesome camp for your kids of all ages. The camp is mainly supported through the Lutheran churches, however, they don't teach doctrine the teach the Love of God and his son Jesus. My kids have gone here for years and love it!

I love this camp!!! I feel sooooooo much closer to God every time I enter this camp! Totally recommend coming to this camp!!

This is a great Christian run camp for church & school retreats. The grounds and facilities are top notch. It's nestled on the Colorado River with a small lake and hiking trails. There is an abundance of Gods creatures like deer, armadillos, rabbits, squirrels, wild hogs and many type of birds. What a great place to relax and get closer to the Lord and fellow Christians. Grateful that our men's group was able to attend a great weekend retreat. Blessing to all Christians.

My daughter has attended Lone Star for 6 years and loves every minute. Counselors are wonderful and she has made so many new friends and always come home with her faith made stronger.
