All three of my kids are Blue Ridge campers and this is our family's 6th summer. Our kids absolutely love it - the activities, the friends they've made - it truly is their "home away from home". Nothing beats the experience the kids have trying new things, making new friends, and just being able to be kids for several weeks each year. They only wish they could go to camp year round!

Most wonderful camp! The directors and counselors are the best! Both my kids count down the school year til camp. We love the family feel we get at Blue Ridge.

8 WONDERFUL summers CBR gave our family! It was truly my boys home away from home. My kids made great friends and have a lifetime of memories that were made. The spirit and love that is created there comes from the top. From day one Joey (owner/director) was always accessible and very easy to communicate with. There is certainly something special at CBR and I was so thrilled that my kids felt it year after year.

Camp blue ridge is my favorite place in the world!!! I ve spent 5 summers here as a camper, and 2 summers as a counselor and I wouldn t trade my experiences and the friendships I ve made over the years for anything! Best place ever <3

Our boys have attended 6 AMAZING summers at Camp Blue Ridge!
Attending this camp has helped our boys become independent and confident. Every summer they are excited to see their camp friends and participate in their favorite camp activity, COLOR WAR! The camp goes above and beyond to make the kids feel welcome and we could not be happier with our summer camp choice, CBR FOREVER!!

This will be my two daughters third summer at Blue Ridge Camp and they absolutely love it!!! They have met incredible friends that they keep in touch with all year long and cannot wait to go back this Summer!!! They will be in the oldest bunk and are so sad that this will be their last summer as campers :(

Highly recommend Camp Blue Ridge for any child looking to have the best summer ever! The cabins are beautiful and updated, the food is delicious, friendly staff and the wide variety of activities make for an all around wonderful experience. Joey, Lori, and Rikki are so helpful and caring and one of the main reasons my family returns year after year!!! Thanks CBR for being the best!

I have been sending my twins to camp here for the past 6 summers and couldn t have dreamed for a better experience. The staff is wonderful, my children have made life long friends and gained great experiences (they love all the time spent at the lake). I really appreciate all of the reunions they do throughout the year to get our kids excited for another summer and to be able to see all of their friends! Camp Blue Ridge has made us feel apart of the family and we wouldn t go anywhere else.

Words can simply not express how much my two sons (ages 9 and 11) love Camp Blue Ridge! This would've been older son's 4th summer and my younger son's 2nd summer, and although they were terribly bummed about not spending their normal 5 weeks there due to COVID, CBR did offer an incredible "family camp" experience over the summer for us all to enjoy. My kids love the assortment of activities, the food (yes, the food is THAT GOOD!) and the lifelong friends that they've made. The owners, Joey and Lori Waldman, as well as their daughter, Rikki, couldn't be more welcoming, and literally know every single child (and I mean in depth!) This is truly my boys' home away from home, and they are counting down the days until summer 2021!

If you re looking for a picture perfect camp experience for your child, look no further. My daughter started going to CBR 3 years ago. She arrived knowing no other campers and was instantly welcomed into the CBR family. She now looks forward to this experience more than any family vacations we take! The camp is well run, clean, and has a variety of activities that foster belonging, community, and friendship.

Something Magical happens when you attend CBR

As someone who was a camper here for many summers in my youth who now sends her kids to CBR as 2nd generation campers, I cannot say enough great things about this camp. There is something magical about this place that always brings you back to it. When you pull through the camp gates you feel like you did the first time you pulled through them. All of a sudden all of the camp songs and friendships and memories come flooding back.

My best of friends was someone I met at CBR when I was 10 and we are still as close. My children have made lifelong friends just like I did. You have counselors who started out as campers themselves. This makes a HUGE difference!

As a parent with one very outgoing child who can make friends with any and everyone (like me!) and then one child who is a bit more reserved, I was a little concerned last summer when the more reserved child started camp for the 1st time. That concerned feeling lasted about 2 minutes before Tom, one of the counselors greeted us and started talking to my child like they were BFFs. After 2 weeks of camp, my child was ready to go back for 5 weeks this summer. We are ready for Summer 2021 and cannot wait!

Camp Blue Ridge is an amazing sleep away camp! I went as a camper/counselor for 6 summers and now my 8 year old daughter will be going back for her 2nd summer! The camp directors, Joey, Lori and Rikki, are truly incredible personally and professionally. The facilities are beautiful and the activity list is endless. The food by Robson last summer was fantastic and my daughter is a picky eater, she loved it!

CBR Forever

Amazing camp experience! My twin boys have been going here for two summers and can t wait to get back for the summer of 2020. The owners, Joey and Lori are awesome! They are always available to parents and they love each of the campers like their own. Their daughter, Ricki, is amazing as well and always smiling and planning great activities for the kids. It is a smaller camp and what we love about the camp is all the kids know each other and form a family. My boys love the 16 year old campers as much as the 7 year old campers. My boys like that they can pick the activities they enjoy to do. The night activities are fun and creative! The food is great! The list can go on and on...Camp Blue Ridge is the best!

Eight of the best years of my life were at Camp Blue Ridge. Amazing supervision and a true passion for providing an incredible rich experience. Lori, Joey and Rikki have my vote of confidence. They simply don t come any better.

My daughter had the best summer of her life at Camp Blue Ridge. The staff and campers are supportive and loving. Most importantly, she had tons of fun!!! If you are looking to give your child a wholesome, traditional, and positive summer camp experience, this is the place.

My son has gone to CBR from Brooklyn every year since he was 7 years old, and this year he will turn 15. I can't recommend Camp Blue Ridge enough, it provided him with unforgettable experiences and friends that he never would have had in the local day camps of New York. Beautiful setting, fantastic owners and staff. Five Stars.

Camp Blue Ridge has been an amazing experience for both of our kids. Our son just completed his tenure there of 5 years and is going back as a counselor because he loves it. Our daughter is on her 5th year now. As a smaller, quaint and beautifully set camp, the kids develop special bonds like no other with their friends. They have every activity for the kids. And the kids learn to become independent and really grow up during the summer months. I have no doubt our kids will look back on their CBR years as the greatest time of their lives. Thank you CBR!!

My 3 kids have been campers for years. My 6 nieces and nephews have been campers for years.
The first thing my kids say when they arrive home from camp is: " Can we go again next year? PLEASE!!!" Need I say more.

We as a family call CBR our home away from home! The camp is absolutely beautiful, the directors and staff are wonderful, kind, and nurturing. My children love all of the activities that are available for them to choose from. I worked at CBR over 20 years ago as a counselor and running girls lower and upper villages. I can still remember calling my parents when I arrived and asked them why they didn t send me as a child to CBR! So when it came time to send our children, there was no question of where they would go!

I love this camp so much!!! I went as a kid, and went as a counselor! the staff are like family to me and i would consider this my second home would highly recommend if you want your kids to have a blast and make friendships of a lifetime!

Camp Blue Ridge is so much more than a summer camp! It has truly made me the person I am today and positive environment goes unmatched!! Any child can easily find their home at CBR and will be welcomed with open arms

Best camp ever! After spending my own childhood summers at camp blue ridge, I now send my own children to CBR and couldn t be happier with their summer experiences. My oldest will be going back for his sixth summer, and my younger son will be there again this year for his second summer. I cannot speak highly enough. They have fun. They are safe. They learn independence. They try amazing activities they would never experience at home. They have made life long friends. I have passed the torch! We are forever a CBR Family!!!

It's been 2 generations and over 20 years combined of going to Blue Ridge. A lot has changed but the charm, community and camp experience has stayed the same. Camp Blue Ridge is my daughter's home away from home! This will be her sixth and final summer as a camper at Blue Ridge. She made so many incredible friendships and amazing memories there. Each year, we think that her experience can't possibly get any better the following summer, but it always does! The CBR directors and staff are always looking for new ways to enhance the campers' experiences. Counting down the days to summer 2020!

Camp Blue Ridge is the greatest home away from home for your child! It is family owned and family focused. There is no better place for your child to be to grow in confidence, skill, independence and socially because I guarantee, they will make friends that will last a lifetime. The health and safety of the children attending this Camp is beyond the greatest priority. The planning and preparation done by the owners with regard to health and safety prior to children being on site is exceptional because as far as they are concerned, every child attending Camp Blue Ridge is their own. Spectacular Camp based in a stunning location.

What a great place for kids to summer camp at. The staff is amazing and do a great job making sure each kid has the best summer of there life year after year. So much passion goes into making the experience (especially for color war) Always love coming up there for a visit. Lori, Joey and Rikki are the best!

Camp Blue Ridge is the BEST summer sleep away camp. I was a camper for 10 years and then a counselor for 3. Camp Blue Ridge is family owned and you can feel that the second you walk onto camp. Everyone knows each others names and every camper feels special when they are there. Camp Blue Ridge has great food with a salad bar option at every meal. The cabins are nice and the activities are so much fun. Send your children to camp!!! You will not regret it.

CBR is our summer Home away from Home! This FUN camp is full of a variety of activities in a beautiful setting! My kids talk about it all year long and literally start the minute they return! All of my nieces and nephews attend camp Blue Ridge. I have noticed a significant change in each of them every time they return home. It must be from the fresh air, new skills learned, and life long friendships they ve made. I love that kids can get away for the summer to just be kids. It s so important to learn independence at a young age and I believe camp blue ridge allows for the kids to explore that. Joey, Lori, and Rikki run a reputable camp and I highly recommend !!!

Camp Blue Ridge used to be my summer home as a child and I am thrilled that I can now give the same experience to my son. He was a first time camper last summer and like all mothers I was worried about him. All my fears were diminished when I heard about the fantastic summer he had and how he can not wait to go back again next summer. He formed such wonderful friendships with his counselors and bunk mates, won his first color war, still sings the songs he learned, and became more independent. He was technology free all summer which in this day in age is rare. The family-loving atmosphere that Camp Blue Ridge provides is priceless. I would highly recommend this camp without reservation!

We are die hard Camp Blue Ridgers I m so impressed by this little slice of heaven tucked away in the Georgia Mountains. This place is MAGICAL!!!! I attended for 4 summers and had the absolute best summer each time!! I made lifelong friends and the best memories. When we left family week last week, my daughters cried and begged to return next summer. The cabins are immaculate, the food is delish and they have so many fun activities for everyone! Camp Blue Ridge has been my daughters summer home for 6 years! It is a place where she got to enjoy the outdoors, try new activities, participate in amazing programs, and make lifelong friends. This beautiful mountain location and amazing staff made a place away from home feel like home.

I have three children, one daughter and two sons, all of who go to Camp Blue Ridge. I chose the camp because the kids get to select their own activities and for my "non-athletic" son, this was perfect! He wouldn't be forced to play football when he really wanted to be strumming strings on a guitar. With the large variety of activity choices there is something for every unique personality. My daughter just finished 7 years at CBR and is now returning as a counselor. This will be my middle son's 7th summer and my youngest son's 4th summer. The teen program is fantastic and the outside field trips are definitely catered to "teen life." Camp owners, Joey, Lori, and Rikki know the names of every single child that attends their camp which gives the parents the confidence in knowing their children are in a safe and loving environment. Camp Blue Ridge is truly my children's home away from home!

My two daughters attended Blue ridge last summer for the first time and had a great experience. The owners did everything to make us feel comfortable, safe and welcomed. The staff were very attentive, friendly and professional. My girls enjoyed the plethora of activities, loved the food and the overall warm family run vibe.

We had a blast at the 1st Family Camp at Blue Ridge Camp. There was so much stuff to do. Great times, great food, great people, would love to go back.

We have had the best experience at Camp Blue Ridge! This camp is truly a special place that sets themselves apart from the rest. They have amazing staff, counselors and always looking out for the kids. It's been an amazing experience year after year and have recommended to other friends that are equally as happy! The kids and parents are very down-to-earth and a place I'm so happy and proud to be a part of!!

I love this camp more than any place in the whole world! So many great memories that I will never forget. I cant wait until my son is old enough to go here!! The Waldman's have always made me feel like family and I love them for that.

I bring my little Allison to Camp Blue Ridge every year. I love this place so much because everytime she returns home, she is so content and happy. She is usually very quiet and timid, but after camp she is reminded of her unique and creative nature. She is more outgoing little by little after her experiences at camp blue ridge. If you want to bring your children to a safe, fun, loving and accepting environment, this is the place! I will never consider another camp. Rikki runs a wonderful operation.

My boys had an amazing time at Camp Blue Ridge last summer and they are so excited to go back again! Awesome owners and counselors! They have so many activities to choose from. My boys loved the food! I really like that it is a smaller camp. They are great about taking photos and videos and sharing on social media. It was nice to be able to see what they were doing. I am excited for my daughter to start going with her brothers when she is old enough.

I ve went to this camp for almost ten years and never had a complaint. Staff was consistently great year in and year out and always had the greatest time as a camper there. I would recommend this camp to any parent looking to send their child to a genuine sleepaway camp where they can get the full camp experience.

The summers I spent here as a camper were the best ever! The sense of family is so strong everyone here truly cares for each other, it s so much fun too!!

My younger brother has been going to camp here for the last 3 years. He loves the staff so much there. My family and I had a great experience with Rikki. She made the process very comforting and smooth for us.

My 2 boys 11 and 15 have attended Blue Ridge for 2 summers. They were looking forward to their third summer but due to Covid they could not attend. They were so upset and can't wait to be back at their home away from home with their family for the summer of 2021. The boys love the fact that the camp is small and everyone knows each other. The staff is amazing and I always know my kids are safe and in good hands. They love that they get to pick their own activities and do what interests them but also trying new things. They are counting down the days until they return.

Camp Blue Ridge has been our families home away from home for the last 8 summers and we will continue for as long as they want. Our daughter has the best time last summer. Unfortunately COVID-19 ruined the chance to go back this summer. The camp is warm and welcoming to new comers. There is a great family and caring atmosphere and we know the kids are safe and also having a great time. We look forward to returning summer 2021!

Our family was fortunate to be part of family camp weekend at Camp Blue Ridge. I was a camper many years ago and was able to reignite those amazing camp memories that I had but now with my family. The owners make everyone feel at home and my children had a blast!They are already asking when they can return and so are we! The camp is beautiful and the cabins are all remodeled with wood floors and air conditioning. We hope they do family camp again and hope to be part of it. Camp is amazing!!
