A great music venue, so improved from the last time I was there, which was many years ago. The acoustics are far better now. Not too big a venue, which makes for a more personal interaction with the artists.

It's probably a good place for an artsy performance, which is, afterall what it's meant to be for. I've been here twice for festival-type events using the whole venue and, frankly, the nightclub part is not very nice as there is no natural light and insufficient artificial light. The auditorium is fine for lectures/talks/performances though. Staff are efficient, friendly and helpful.

Lovely theatre/venue in Cambridge. Been many times to watch comedians, plays and concerts and never had a bad night out at The Junction. Only negative thing I would say is that the seats need to be done up in the main venue as they're getting very torn and battered.

Its changed since the times that I used to go there. However, there are a few things which are still the same friendly bar staff, friendly door staff and friendly people.

Pretty good place and the live band were good.

Went to my first gig at the J1 within the Junction. I chose to collect my ticket from the box office and the queue went straight past the box office as soon as we were let it, so that was easy and the staff were efficient The venue was good. Although the floor was flat the stage was raised sufficiently to clearly see the band. The bar is within the main area but off to one side. Prices seemed reasonable. A great convenience was the local parking which is a multi-story costing only a couple of quid if you arrive after 7pm. Will definitely be back when another band is playing that I want to see.

Finally a concert venue with some beer other than tasteless commercial lager. Concert hall 1 is a bit uncomfortable in my opinion but still intimate enough for a close look at the artists.

Cool venue.

Cool venue.

Everything is black inside

Only fizzy beer on tap sadly

Quite small

If you need to sit down you're out of luck but I guess that's not what it's for.
