Calvary Church: A Place of Worship and Community
Calvary Church is a vibrant community of believers that welcomes people from all walks of life. As a Fellowship of the Assemblies of God, Calvary Church is committed to spreading the gospel message and helping people grow in their faith.
Led by Pastor Marty Sloan, Calvary Church offers a warm and welcoming environment where individuals can come together to worship, learn, and connect with others. Whether you are new to the area or have been attending church for years, you will find a place at Calvary.
At Calvary Church, we believe that everyone has a unique purpose in life. Our mission is to help individuals discover their purpose and live it out through service to others. We offer a variety of programs and ministries designed to meet the needs of our diverse congregation.
Worship Services
Our Sunday morning worship services are the heart of our church community. We gather together each week to sing praises to God, hear an inspiring message from Pastor Marty or one of our other pastors or guest speakers, and connect with one another.
We also offer midweek services on Wednesday evenings where we dive deeper into scripture through Bible studies and small group discussions. These services provide an opportunity for individuals to grow in their faith while building relationships with others in the church.
Children's Ministry
At Calvary Church, we believe that children are an important part of our community. That's why we offer dynamic children's ministry programs designed specifically for kids ages birth through fifth grade.
Our children's ministry team provides engaging lessons that teach kids about God's love while also providing opportunities for them to build friendships with other kids their age. From Sunday school classes during worship services to midweek activities like AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed), there is always something fun happening for kids at Calvary Church.
Youth Ministry
As teenagers navigate through some of life’s most challenging years they need guidance more than ever before! At Calvery Youth Ministries (CYM) students will find caring adults who want nothing more than help them navigate these years successfully! CYM meets every Wednesday night at 6:30pm!
Adult Ministries
In addition to our children's ministry programs, we also offer adult ministries designed specifically for men and women looking for fellowship opportunities outside regular worship services.
Men’s Ministry - Men’s Breakfasts happen quarterly throughout the year as well as special events such as Wild Game Dinners!
Women’s Ministry - Women’s Bible Studies happen throughout different times during year!
Community Outreach
At Calvary Church we believe it is important not only serve those within our walls but those outside as well! We have several outreach initiatives including:
- Food Pantry
- Clothing Closet
- School Supply Drive
- Christmas Toy Drive
