The California Institute of Technology Submillimeter Observatory (CSO) is a 10.4-meter (34-foot) diameter submicron wavelength telescope located on the Maunaki Mountain with a 15-meter (49-foot) diameter. James Clark Maxwell Next to the Telescope (JCMT). It is engaged in sub-millimeter wave astronomy and works on the channel of terahertz radiation. In accordance with the Maunaki Mountain Integrated Management Plan, this telescope was decommissioned on September 18, 2015[1][2].
