The cafe: it was not a busy time but the place was looking dirty. We set on two tables and both were dirty.
The centre is however a piece of history, hosting aircrafts that flew for the Schneider trophy. Two hangars take names after famous aircrafts.

Calshot Activities Centre is a brilliant place to go for a day out. I have personally experiences many of the activities that are on offer and thoroughly enjoyed the day out. The velodrome is a brilliant place to go to if you like to do track cycling as well as train for your next race.

Excellent for climbing and skiing. A huge area with a brilliant cafe at affordable prices. The cafe looks over the Solent at the entrance to Southampton Water. The biggest ships in the world pass close by.

A real gem, this one, even if it is in the middle of nowhere(!) There's the great climbing area, compete with bouldering, lead climbing and top-roping, indoor dry skiing, and a very impressive velodrome, all in the same building! Oh, the cafe is great too, and stays open after the climbing area has closed (very unusual in climbing centres!)

We did the Ringos. Masks only required for spectators (not participants). 30 min session was good and well distanced. Lift not being used so be prepared for a good workout. Parking onsite, very close to the Hangar and pay on departure (good value).

Busy activity centre for the family. Awesome velodrome with viewing area. Lots of climbing walls. Ticketless parking charges can be pricey so park before the barriers and walk down but still need to pay and display. Windsurf shop great. Pebbly beach busy with windsurfing and kite surfing. Low tide shows sandbanks quite far out so come at high tide for watersports. Cafe and toilets in hangars. I love this place.

Seems to be a good selection of activities. There was a good atmosphere about the site, it was clean and tidy. The velodrome looks very worth a go. Many happy memories to be made here in years to come by the whole family.

Nice place not only for activities but to stop at for a coffee or something to eat in the restaurant/bar. Offering great views all the way to portsmouth. The climbing walls are varied and well planned, and the dry ski slope offers facilities for beginners and the experienced skier

Visited here with mum. We wanted to eat and drink in the cafeteria but they weren't serving food for 45 mins and then told they would be serving only chips. Annoyed. Not a great menu. They serve Stella Artois alongside teas and coffees.
Calshot now charge for parking using an ANPR system. On exiting, car registration plate number is put into a machine and the cost of parking is displayed. Blue Badge holders need to present their badge at the information centre and a 4 digit code is given and instructions on how to input into the machine to obtain free parking.

I had the half day track cycling experience as a birthday treat, and can't recommend this highly enough if you are a keen cyclist. Only tip is plenty of war gear if you do this in winter....think a sub zero ride and you should be good! Cafe excellent also with nice views of the estuary.

The climbing here is great, I'm not interested in skiing or cycling but there is also the dry slope and velodrome there so plenty of indoor activities. The cafe there is very comfortable and has quite a good menu and the outdoor seating has a lovely view of Southampton and is a great place to watch the boats come and go.

Go climbing here regularly and love it!
All of the team are helpful and are more than happy to spend time and teach you the ropes, loads of different climbing routes from beginners to more advanced.
If your looking for indoor climbing, this is by far the place to go!
