Callanwolde Fine Arts Center is a premier community fine arts center and renowned event venue located on a historic 12-acre estate in the heart of metro Atlanta. The History of Callanwolde
Originally built as the home of Charles Howard Candler (son of Coca-Cola founder Asa Candler) in 1920s Atlanta's Druid Hills neighborhood. The estate was designed by architect Henry Hornbostel who also designed Emory University's campus. In 1959 the mansion was purchased by the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta to be used as an Episcopal girls' school named Callanwolde School for Girls. In 1972 it became Callanwolde Fine Arts Center.
