The barracks were very cold though.... overall it was cool...

1968 many happy memories. Like picnics on the tanks. We could walk everywhere as children. Swimming pools, movie theaters, baseball games etc. 25 cents to get into movies and 5 cent popcorn. We had the army or navy side to choose from. Shopping at the canteen. Gd times!

The cafeteria at this base is pretty good, sometimes go in and eat it!

Abusive, unprofessional behaviour towards cadets during the summer programs.

Went here for the survival instructor course for air cadets and was absolutely amazing

I love when baseboard and practices over our hoses this shows a sense of security we have with the Army being close to us

Lived there as a kid for thirteen years when the base was only accessible to military. Best time of my life on this base.

I spent a few years here in my teens! Loved the base as it had so much to offer. We had a teen club, movie theatre, roller rink, swimming pool and lots of good times! Is the base still active? Are the PMQ s still there? Would love to hear about it! My father was in the army and from Borden we went to Germany.

Cool place. If you're a cadet you'll go here for summer training (or for FTXs, and freeze your lower body off). If you are a visitor there are many interesting vehicles on display and a cool museum nearby. Stop by if you're in the area.

I have never been able to work in any other place where I am a somebody All the respect and admiration that has been given to me from the visiting Big Guys down to the students and back up again. I have learned more in my time at CFB Borden and even more so now during this hard time across the globe. My CAF,CFSATE and Cadet center are very much more than coworkers they have been FAMILY.
