Amazing taste! I have a Friday tradition, every Friday me and the fam go all out at this place. Their San Francisco brownie is for the sweet tooth! Love it!

Always a pleasant visit for me and my daughter! She loves their macaroons and I love their red velvet cake slices!

I called this store to order a 6inch cake. The owner immediately told me that I needed to give them 2 weeks notice for a custom order. I tried to explain to her that this will NOT be a custom order, and that I can use the already made cake they sell in their shop each day but this woman would not let me get my sentence out and was beyond rude and unprofessional, she kept talking over me rudely. She told me how busy they are and are unable to bake my cake, even though I was not given a chance to explain what type of cake I wanted to order. I just needed one of the cakes they bake daily and sell in store, all they had to do was write on the cake. I placed same order in March for my daughter's birthday, and had no problem with a different lady I spoke with, but apparently the owner was having a bad day today and didn't care about her reputation or loosing business. I would gladly take my business someone else. She also claimed that I could not pickup on Monday, my daughter's birthday was March 18, it was on a Monday and the lady I spoke with back in March was ok with me picking up the cake on a Monday. The lady I dealt with back in March, told me that although the store is not open on mondays, they are in the back baking and gave me a time to pick up the cake. The owner lacks listening skills and is very unprofessional. Terrible!

I am highly disappointed in this bakery and owner. I called 3weeks to ask questions about ordering a cake and cupcakes for my daughter's birthday and not once did anyone tell me I had to order online. I was told I had 3days to order before the pickup day. Called the shop and then went into the shop today which is 1 week and 2 days to my event and the rude owner dismissed me saying I cannot order in person and that they are booked for that date. No apologies after explaining I drove all the way and I was told I needed 3 days to order. Then she went off on a sympathy route saying she will be having surgery. I wish her the best in the surgery but I didn't need to know that personal information. I just need an apology for coming in and sent home rudely. Atleast just say we apologize.

Cali Girl Cakes is my only place to go for every special occasion to give a custom cake order. This time, they didn't surprise me, and they did a fantastic job!

Wonderful! Absolutely Wonderful! My husband and I had Cali Girl Cakes make our wedding cake. Not only was working with the owner a very pleasant experience, she did everything to ease a bride. I knew it was one aspect of our special day that I didn't need to worry about and boy was I right. I have never heard so many compliments in regards to the taste. My guests are still talking about it. I think it was their favorite part. Thank you so much Cali Girl Cakes, you made our cake better then we could have imagined.

The chocolate mousse cake is literally the BEST chocolate cake I've ever had in my life!! I've had a few different things and everything is surprisingly even more delicious than it looks!!

I called Cali Girl Cakes looking for a gluten free and dairy free bakery. Unfortunately, there are very few options available and while Cali Gir wasn't able to help, they did direct me to multiple bakeries in my area where I could find exactly what I needed.

Great desserts! They also have gluten free desserts!

They re the best! Customer service is great! Communication is awesome!! I ve gotten a cake each year for my daughter birthday and I plan on keeping it that way! Plus they re prices are reasonable.

We tried the Lemon Blueberry Cake, Carrot Cake and a Red Velvet Cupcake. All three were delicious - very flavorful with perfect textures. It's a perfect spot for a detour while walking on the DuPage River Trail. We can't wait to go back.

Such a nice little place. And the cakes are amazing. We came here for a tasting for our upcoming wedding. She gave us a few in-season options. All were great. Was soooo hard to choose! lol. I highly recommend this place for any occasion!!

Hidden gem, the cakes and pastries are very good with excellent execution. It's not an ubiquitous cupcake place. It's just a place to get good slices of cakes!

we ordered from Cali Girl cupcakes at the last minute. not only were they able to accommodate is that last minute they also took the time to deliver on Sunday when they were closed. this was the first time that I had use them for company business and everybody loved their cupcakes. I would highly recommend them

I ordered a cake for my dad's 95th birthday. Everyone loved the cake including my grandson who does not like cake. The vanilla cake was moist and very flavorful, the chocolate mousse was delicious and the buttercream frosting was light without the greasy after taste you often get with bakery cakes.

The choco mousse slices are the bomb dot com. My pants say no but my heart says YES

I ordered a custom cake for a birthday with short notice and only a picture from the internet. Cake game out perfect and everyone loved it! They are simply Amazing!!!!

I ordered some of their specialized sugar cookies to deliver to different businesses and they were a huge hit! Everyone loved the cookies. They were fresh and decorated beautifully! I had the pleasure of trying their Cali Girl Signature cookie as well and it was AMAZING! Their pastries are a must try. They are also so nice and easy to work with! Thanks ladies, I will be back!

The custom cupcake I ordered here were really great. Staffs were friendly and did accommodated me when I went here. Freshly baked goods and well organized.

Wow!!! Me and my husband just tried the peanut butter cupcake, moist, just the right amount of chocolate and oh so peanut-buttery frosting. Love at first bite....... Their key-lime bar and Caramel Pecan mini-cheese cake are also amazing. You can taste the flavors with the first bite. I can't wait to try their other beautiful edible creations. And the decore is beautiful.

Ordered a dozen custom cupcakes for a birthday from Cali Girl Cakes in April, arrived on pick-up date only to be told the date was incorrect. It was a slight issue as I was driving from out of town to pick them up - HOWEVER, I was pleasantly surprised that they were willing to drive over 30 minutes just to drop them off for me. LOVE that they flew the extra mile to make the birthday extra special. The cupcakes were beautiful and tasted awesome!

I used Cali Girl Cakes for my wifes birthday. They made a perfect Louis Vuitton purse cake. My wife was overjoyed with it and it is probably the best tasting cake I've had.

Soooo I'm supposed to be on bed rest but chocolate chip cookies were calling name(pregnancy cravings) but I didn't just want any chocolate chip cookie, I wanted some made with love and fresh not like meijer or Walmart. So I asked on Bolingbrook mom group on fb and just about everyone said Cali Girl. So I turned my wifi off so my husband wouldn't see I left bedreat for some cookies and headed over there
Very cute place full of delicious desserts. Very hard to choose. Especially since everything was reasonably priced. Omg was it good. Got my chocolate chip cookie and a cream puff and a piece of cheese cake.

Cali Girl Cakes saved the day! We needed a last minute cake or two this past Saturday and they handled it all perfectly! With all the stress of getting a small wedding planned in a week Cali Girl Cakes took one very big thing off our plate and came through in the clutch. I will be singing their praises to all of my friends and family and I promise that you will love them when you try them!

My husband is in love with the individual cakes and treats. They are small enough that he doesn't feel that he is over-doing it, but large enough that he satisfies his 'sweet' addiction. Great place!

To die for. The best cupcakes ever. And the Chocolate Mousse Cake was decadent. My family are not dessert people and moaned they were too full for dessert. There was not a morsel left.

I was having a Kentucky Derby party and wanted Mint Julep Cupcakes. I had called two other cupcake bakeries 9 days in advance and they would not do a special order. Cali Girl did not hesitate to accept my request and they did a fabulous job. They were a HUGE hit at the party and even 3 days later when I gave the last one to a friend to try, it was still moist and she loved the cake. I would not only recommend Cali Girl but will use again and again!

I ordered a cake for my daughters birthday this weekend, when i saw the cake initially I wasn't too happy that the lilac colors faded into a blue because of the buttercream. Other than the color that faded, the cake was absolutely beautiful and the cake was SOOOO super scrumptious!!!! I love the recommendations regarding the flavors because it made the cake that much better. Totally worth It! I will definitely be getting my cake there for every special occasion of mine.

They have a good variety of pastries. I do wish they had some sugar free items as I'm borderline diabetic.

Cali Girl Cakes did an amazing job for my 10 Year Wedding celebration. I ordered a small 8" round cake and it served over 20 people. The cake was so gorgeous. I wanted them to create something unique and use their creative talents and they did not disappoint. Custom sugar cookies were beyond delicious and beautiful. Better than the pictures and tastier than any review!!! Highly recommend.

Go there for their gluten free Macarons. Very elegant cakes. Wish they have more gluten free pastries.

My custom cake order turned out perfect. It was exactly what I wanted. The cake was delicious too! Moist and not overly sweet. The bakery is so beautiful and staff is friendly. I would highly recommend Cali Girl Cakes and have done so to my friends and family.

I always stop here when I'm in Bolingbrook. All of their pastries/cakes are delicious. My favorite is Da Brook cupcake. Always moist, banana cake with salted caramel inside and a delicious buttercream frosting. Quite possibly the best cupcake I've ever had.

They saved my butt! I was preparing for my wife's birthday and at the last minute decided that I don't want a simple cake but an elegant one. Since it was last minute, I had a great idea in mind but not sure if the plan would follow through.

Having called another cake shop, they told me I was too late to make an order but fortunately Cali Cake said they could do it. I called on Friday and the cake was done by Tuesday! Moreover, having looked around on the internet, there are a lot of cake shops but some designs are quite cheesy and looked too simplistic, mostly for children. However, Cali Girl's cakes were elegant in their designs, which can be seen on their website and more on their pinterest page. Another plus with them is that I could choose what type of cake I wanted and lo and behold, they had my wife's favorite, carrot cake.

When I picked up the cake, I was absolutely blown away. The cake looked even more beautiful than the photo online. Furthermore, I normally don't like decorated cakes because they had beautiful exterior and subpar tasting cakes. Nonetheless, I wanted a beautiful looking cake so I was ready to live with a nothing-but-sugar cake under the thick frostings! To my surprise, they had one of the best carrot cakes I had in Chicago! A bit flaky but so delicious. Soft, moist, and fresh ingredients with carrot and nuts. The nuts were just right too, sometimes people go overboard with the nuts and it becomes a nut cake instead of a carrot cake.

Lastly, their price is very reasonable. My cake was $42. Some cake shops can sell their non decorated cakes for $30.

So thank you Cali Girl! I am coming to you guys for every birthday and parties!

I love the atmosphere, there is no right or wrong choice, it's just is. Moist, delicious, gorgeous presentation and sinfully decadent, I'm on a mission to try it all. So far they are the mistresses and masters of these pastries. I'm definitely hooked on them.

REMARKABLE! Is the one word I could say about this place! I just had my first cupcake from them (peanut butter chocolate) and I was hooked! Denise and Ruan were so awesome as well and I really appreciate them taking the time to show me the store and what Cali Girl Cakes has to offer! This is a nice local bakery. I've only had the cupcakes but they are really good worth a try.

Excellent baked goods. From cookie, cupcakes to more advanced baked goods all the way up to sheet cakes and wedding cakes. They even host bridal parties and small group gatherings. Come in for an excellent sweet treat, or something for the holidays or party. You will not be disappointed. They are really good. Sometimes have to turn people away if you don't plan in advance during busy times. Don't miss out.

We just got a cake from Cali Girls for my sons 10th birthday. I emailed them a picture of what I was thinking, a Chicago Cubs themed cake, and they did an AMAZING job, better than I could have expected! I was so impressed!! We had vanilla cake, white chocolate mousse and sweet butter cream frosting. It was delicious! I will definitely be ordering more cakes from here.

Ordered cake for the gender reveal! There was a little mishap but the owner Alicia took care of it and the cake looked adorable! Everyone loved it and it was so creamy, so moist and flavorful!!
