Today s virtual signaling comments on twitter and with a glib smirk in their defense on CBC radio by the Chamber president @sandiplalli were tone deaf, poorly timed and publicly irresponsible.

At a time when intense economic blockades of our ever improving energy industry are multiplying social issues and family strains - the chamber decides that echoing the false narrative of the nihilists bent on shutting down canada for their own selfish gains?

If you re advocating for the common good via the business community - then perhaps reflect on how to do that better. Until then, there is no chance my firm will become a member of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce.

Chambers have always provided excellent service, and are responsive to our changing needs. We highly recommend them as a provider.

Being a member on and off since 1989. The membership fee is hefty for a small manufacturing business and it looks like that even they had to downsize as it is not as easy anymore to get a hold of them. Calgary is either hopping or hurting when you can't even get the Chamber to answer the phone. They did help us out during the flood and were very responsive then. We have competition, so we respond immediately. There is only one Chamber of Commerce in Calgary. Hence, my frustration with phone calls going to voice mail by default just like it does with CRA or 311

Had to get some documents stamped and signed and the ladies at the front were extremely helpful! They were very accommodating and friendly while I was waiting. They took the time to help look up our account to verify details and waivers and provided us with information and forms to make our next visits easier! Amazing experience :)

The Calgary Chamber of Commerce does an exceptional job extending and strengthening our City s business infrastructure, especially in the Small-Medium size verticals. In addition to organizing events that are almost always sold-out, the Chamber creates an environment that enables businesses in B2B to build relationships and serve each other. I highly recommend entrepreneurs to look into being Chamber members and use it to it s full potential

I wasn't sure if I should join the Calgary Chamber of Commerce, but I quite happy that I have! Everyone I have dealt with from the Chamber has been welcoming, professional, and the events I have attended so far have been excellent. Teri Lang was so gracious and helpful that I'm already considering upgrading my membership. Well done!

I'm a new member of the Chamber, having joined in December of 2015.

What convinced me to join was the renewed dynamism of the organization, plus my feeling that they're making an immense positive difference for their small business members in Calgary in various ways. The committed individuals I've met at the Chamber are inspiring.

Whether it's at events, advocating for supportive government action, or simply taking feedback from members, the "new" Calgary Chamber is engaged with its membership, relevant bodies in government and other stakeholders at many different levels simultaneously.

I've attended several events and networking opportunities presented by the Chamber since late 2015 and come away *at least* impressed every time.

I would highly recommend entrepreneurs, particularly fighting the isolation of working as a "solopreneur" to join, and then, through various Chamber events and opportunities, get to know the community you're a part of. Reconnect. Connect. Enjoy.

Great organization that is very in tune with the Calgary business community as a whole, not just the "large" players. Had the pleasure of attending their recent Onward conference and the day was a huge benefit to me and my colleagues.

We would like to share our experience regarding the Calgary Chamber with everyone. After looking at different organizations and how we envisioned the direction of Calgary Elite Roofing we decided to call the Calgary Chamber and find out what they had to offer.

We had our initial meeting with Teri L and decided that it was the right fit and proper direction for us to go. She took the time to explain how so many business's before us had grown into major household names in Calgary and how the Calgary Chamber would be able to assist us with our growth we had mapped out.

Now after two years and several amazing seminars and workshops we have more then tripled in size and continue to push forward and we continue to grow at an incredible rate with a new division opening in 2017.

Not only have we made incredible contacts in the business world in Calgary but thanks to the Chamber we have been able to develop different areas of our business years ahead of schedule.

All of the staff at the Calgary Chamber have an amazing can do attitude and they are always searching for new and innovative ways to assist in developing your business.

They have incredible drive and if you are looking to bring your business to the next level this should be on the top of the list on places to be, things to do, and people to meet. Being a member has truly made an impact on us both personally as well as professionally that was well beyond what we could have imagined.

The Chamber really has its finger on the pulse of Calgary, and does a fantastic job of keeping businesses informed and connected. Having just attended their Onward conference, I was blown away by the variety of speakers they had scheduled, and left with a renewed sense of optimism and excitement for what's coming next in Calgary.
