Really good golf course with a lot of good holes. The first 10 holes are great but some of the character of the course seems to remain on the coastal side after you come back to the 11th. However the three times that I have played have been really enjoyable, I would thoroughly recommend this course

Went to Caldy this morning with six friends including my 13 year old son. From beginning to end this club ticks all the boxes. On arrival the Pro was extremely welcoming and helpful , the clubhouse staff were charming and we hadn't even stepped onto the course yet. Before teeing off a couple of members extremely helpful and encouraging towards my son.
Playing this course is a real privilege, the holes are set against the most impressive backdrop of the Dee estuary with the Welsh mountains framing a fantastic view. The condition of the course was brilliant, too many great holes to name ,however my personal favourite, the short par 3 17th, a 9 iron down a steep dip to a receptive green protected by a lovely meandering brook to the front, I could play this hole over and over again.
The meal in the clubhouse was excellent and again all the staff we met could not have been more helpful or accommodating
Many of the club members were encouraging and friendly, this is a truly special place to play , and all this is coming from a golfer who's home club is only 10 minutes in Heswall Treat yourself to a round here you definitely wont regret it
