The hill itself is a 5. Great atmosphere and great conditions.

It was busy, and I expected it because it was a Saturday so the lines were long which is understandable.

What got me was workers got to bump the line with the people they were with.
We all go for the same reason and pay a price, I didn t think that was fair as I got cut off 3 times, twice by the same man.

The brown and blue jackets is an entitlement that was taken advantage. If he was giving lessons then make it known..

Paid 60 bucks for 4 hours and got 5 runs. Not a big deal very happy to get out!

I give it a 3+ overall , workers skipping lines wasn t cool.

Poor experience, very very dirty carpet, a lot of the insects and lady bugs around the room, the furniture need to be renovated. It was April 2021 when we checked in and the rooms were hot, I called the room services to turn on the A/C, they said can t turn it on and asked me to open the windows .!!!? Don't go here. I highly recommend other ski resorts around.

We truly enjoyed skiing here on a Monday and Tuesday. Very little traffic and no waiting at the lifts. We were blessed with great weather on both days. The lift tickets did not require any additional checking by lift personnel. And we loved the variety of runs.

We did the chairlift ride here. It was extremely fun! I would recommend everyone who wants to see fall colors try that ride for sure as you can take great pictures and videos from the chairlift of the trees. But be careful with holding your phones as the ride is open and if it s windy, your phone can slip out easily.
the hike at the end of the chairlift ride is so scenic and beautiful. Took great pictures!

I wish there was a 0 option. I noticed quite a few other people have had the same experience my family and I have had. We bought our ski lift tickets on line to avoid potential line ups but could not reserve rental equipment. We thought that was strange but off we went. We get there and wait over an hour in a not covid friendly line up that was so unorganized only to find out that they were out of rentals! The girl at the counter gave me an email to inquire about a refund. 3 emails, numerous phone calls and a complaint made through Better Business Bureau and not a single reply-not even to BBB. Does anyone even answer the phone that is on the website?? We will never ever go back to Calabogie. We are spreading word of our experience to anyone who will listen.

I will post a more detailed report after we leave.

We got here today. It s was about an hour from Ottawa. Two roads and really easy to find the place. The grounds are massive. This evening we explored a little island, the beach and the lake. It s quiet and remote and really nice. Watched an incredible sunset.

The woman at the front desk we super friendly and helpful. Really a pleasure.

Tomorrow we plan on going canoeing and kayaking. We were told to get there at 10am to ensure we can get boats, then we plan on going on an hour hike up to eagles nest. Apparently the views are spectacular.

Will let you know more tomorrow.

Stayed here twice in the last month. First time, everything was great.. second time, not so much.
I called and inquired about a certain room and was given a price.. got there and I was in a smaller room than I requested but they upgraded me for no extra charge. Although.. I was still not in the size of room I requested. (Minus 1 star)
The neighbours were unreasonable.. sending resort staff to our room sometimes twice a day.. they quickly realized it wasn't us and that the neighbours were just super prudes from another planet.. (no penalty because they cannot control whether their visitors are psycho or not but it did make our stay unpleasant)
Now.. my last morning there, we had breakfast food ready to make before we head out and when we got up the power was out.. come to find out that the staff knew this was happening and didn't tell us before booking our stay.. (left without breakfast in my belly.. minus another 1 star)
They were never available.. I tried calling over 100 times with no answer in a three night stay.. but Clearly our neighbours were getting through
