This place is so wonderful!! They are so accepting and the cashier was super nice. The coffee was really good too. Also very beautiful location. I would highly recommend going here

Lovely wooded setting with great coffee. However food options were limited and there are no bathrooms for customers. It is dog friendly.

Perhaps the best coffee in town. Their espresso drinks, like lattes, are creative and tasty. They don't any sweetener, which I really appreciate (you can ask for it if you want, though). The setting in the woods is really tranquil, too - a lovely place for a pick-me-up.

Great service...practicing safe COVID protocol. Enjoyed a tasty mocha latte and delicious orange cranberry muffin! Outside seating off a nearby trail and creek...

Nice to be back after a long break. The folks at Driade are doing a good job keeping things clean and distanced and there are even some heat lamps to help with cold weather. I felt perfectly comfortable and the drinks and eats are as good as ever.

No restroom. Otherwise this place is AMAZING. All outdoor sitting in a forest setting. Nestled off the walking trail and accessible from the road. They serve the locally roasted coffee, which is some of the best coffee that I ve ever tried. Delicious! They close early, so check the hours if you re looking for an afternoon cup.

Best cafe in the triangle. Hands down. Been coming here for 20 years and the way they ve adapted to current conditions and expanded their outdoor space is wonderful!

TL;DR: Great atmosphere, friendly staff, good coffee, and the Driade shake is fantastic.



While they don't have full on meal options, they usually have pastries or other small snacks for all tastes. My personal go-to item on their menu is their Driade shake, a thick milkshake made with espresso shots, they really have the balance down and I have never been disappointed with it.

Absolutely the best coffee in NC. I moved away to CA for 5 years and each visit back my #1 stop was here. The most beautiful spot to sit outside and share a coffee with a friend or alone and look into the woods. The coffee / lattes / pastries and people are positively splendid!
