Good cafe.Good pastries.Good breads and rolls.Good coffee.Good location.Good service.
Self-service is not a service. Noisy and uncomfortable.
Flight cake and cappuccino were excellent. Place quite crowded and noisy. The service was also a bit distant.
Cozy with old school decor. A gem that differs in its favor from the chain cafes. On the more expensive edge. But definitely worth a visit. Especially because of the sweet pastries.
Fantastic ambience and a really cosy place to hang out.
The coffee was transparent, very acidic, not strong and of poor quality. The toscapulla was alright but nothing spectacular. The chocolate / vanilla topping was lacking in flavour.
The WiFi didn't work.
Unrealistically expensive.
Nice coffee with very tasty korvapuusti. Quite spacious inside and also quieter further back. Staff very nice and helpful. We always stop here when we're in town.
Had breakfast here all the time that we were in Helsinki
Ok and good cakes for a really good cup asam the tea
Always reliable! And space is most often found, even though it is a popular dating site.
So good!!! Everything about the place is perfect!! Loving the location and the food and the drinks are the beeeeessst!! The salmon soup and salad are heavenly like!! Definitely a recommended place to go while in Helsinki.
The best and biggest Korvapuusti in town. Must see attraction in Helsinki
A fashionable cafe with the name of Esplanade Street!
As shown in the picture, it was impressive that cinnamon roll was bigger than smartphone and tea came out with milk pitcher. Lol
Cinnamon rolls are pretty much perky and cool. Lol
It is a wonderful shop that you would like to drop by when you are tired of shopping.
The cafe is very good and nice place also the service very good.
A good place to watch the hustle and bustle of people.
It is a nice place to have a rest in the centre of the city. It is a hectic place though.
Sometimes overcrowded but still a cozy and interesting cafe.
Not top level. Mainly tourists. Prices a bit too high.
Great coffees and teas, nice salad serving and lots of different kinds of pastry. If the Lennu is available, try it!
Continental cafe atmosphere, A-rights and still coffee and pastries. The finest fish soup in the stadium, including a crispy salad of your choice and filling the Place minus the queuing and self service. Staff young and inexperienced but enterprising. Street terrace like Champ Elysee! This would make the stadium's most spectacular cafe with a little scratch!
Classic. Good place, good service - especially for pastries. Minus points for service (no table serving), which at times, stupid. During peak hours, you should be prepared for queuing and slight adjustments when ordering. The ordering process has not been refined to the very last one. Even with its minor shortcomings, I highly recommend it.
Good place for quick snack and a cup of coffee or hot chocolate!! Tried their vegetarian option was made with spinach and was really amazing dish !
Excellent food, very typical place in the very heart of Helsinki. Worth the stop
A traditional, timeless and classic cafe with a nice time to spend.
Cakes and pastries have always been good, including coffee, but the staff does not know the customer service. There are a lot of hygiene shortcomings, unfortunately I will not go back after the stories I have heard.
Good coffee and tasty buns. At the back of the cafe could invest a bit in acoustics.
Good pastries. Unfortunately, the big earbud is not as good as before.
Really nice cafe to sit and relax after a day of walking around the city.
Charming cafe in Helsinki city center right next to Esplanad park. You will find delicious homemade sweet and salty pastries and don't forget their famous cinnamon buns Cozy and Parisienne like a feeling atmosphere place has seen it's glory days but that just gives charming feeling when you enjoy your Latte Macchiato there. Service is most of the times nice and warm. Very popular place to meet your friends over coffee or lunch
Crowded but you will be able to find a table easily. Their cinnamon buns are supposed to be one of the biggest in Finland. Free coffee refills.
Great coffee with free refills, good food, great desserts
Great salad and salmon soup , very tasty carrot pie :)
It is a cafeteria where you have a delicious latte coffee, accompanied by a giant (sweet Finnish bread). Located on the tourist promenade Esplanadi on a table outside the cafeteria to watch the people go by. It's fun. There are only staff at the bar so you have to go buy what you are going to eat there and take it to the table. There are no waiters, to serve only to clean the tables.
The pastries and milieu are still excellent but the service has gone down drastically. Staff young people for whom it was more important to talk to each other and greet them with a friend who came to greet them than to serve customers.
Good stop for a tea or coffee to get away from the cold weather outside.
Popular cafe at Esplanadi. Wouldn't call it cozy as it's rather crowded and not that clean as one may expect it should be. As pluses, there is a bar inside and tables outside provide good views on Esplanadi.
Expensive, a lot of people, dirty ... Old atmospheric cafe, I would say, for an amateur
Nice Cafe. Big in size and the bakery is good as well as the food
Central location which pretty high prices. Nothing unusually good. Packed with tourists.
Really good salmon salad lunch or salmon soup. Well worth a visit and very helpful staff
I recommend the large cappucino and the cake was amazing. Cinnamon roll was huge but a bit dry. Nice location and terrace in summertime. A lot of room inside as well. Very popular place.
Cool cafe! For fish soup (lohikeitto) here! If you can find a place in the main part of the cafe, then this is good luck. It is both atmospheric and comfortable. In the back halls of the cafe is not so cool, because the light is different and exposes all the deterioration of furniture. The location is good and people like to be here, having a look at coffee with all sorts of goodies.
A very nice cafe, delicious selections of cakes, perfect coffee and nice atmosphere.
Nice coffee. Pastries are just ok. The hot chocolate was not hot so kind of disappointing.
Nice pastries, excellent salmon soup, sallads, coffee and more. Everything is homemade! I highly recommand, there is a lot of space inside.
Good coffee, great buns but the slowest moving staff I've seen west from Moscow. Took us 13 minutes to get two coffees and there were only 9 people ahead of us in the que. Self service ...
Cozy, and very popular local Helsinki coffeehouse. Fresh pastries and good coffee.
The food is acceptable but the coffee is just normal.
The environment is good to chat with friends and cafe provide free wifi.
great classy cafe with great products and a lot of space
Used to be one of my favorite places in Helsinki back in 2002 but seems to have had lost some of the focus on quality on a recent trip.
A very nice cafe, although it is always full, so good pastries, one of the best in Helsinki.
Salmon soup tasty but totally cold! But the biggest minus is staff. Dirty tables everywhere, waitress ask us if we want dill to soup and on the end said that that don't have dill, give us small one pieces of bread to soup in big bowl and on the end asking what kind of bread do we want, they totally forgot about butter, I need to ask about it. Zero culture of serving food.
The Brazilian dark-flying coffee was good and the cheesecake really soft! Wc's cleanliness could have been hoped, otherwise the cafe was neat. The cafe was quite full on Sunday at 4pm.
