Cafe Del Mar Music Review

20 years I've been waiting to come here.
I shouldn't have waited so long.
It really did meet all my expectations.
There is a real character to the place and also a gift shop, which I have to say, has some relatively good stuff in it. (More bars should have gift shops)
What I really wanted to do was sit at Del Mar, with a drink, watching that sunset, with the music playing.
What an experience. Well worth 20 years.

Nothing I can say does justice to this place.
You just have to be there.

Have been a big fan of Cafe Del Mar music since the late 90 s. To be honest was expecting a little more but again, still lucky to be able to finally see the place that has created music which helped shape the culture of our generation. They have a shop where you can purchase merchandise souvenirs of their brand.

Yes it's commercialised, but the place is great, the service excellent and the atmosphere amazing. The view of the sun setting ... I don't know how to describe. The music is mixed and timed to perfection to accompany it.

Went here off season at the beginning of October so the only food they had was cold sushi. Ok to watch the sunset from. DJ played great music to compliment it. If you re short on cash get a beer out the local spar and sit on the (rocky) beach in front of Del Mar or Mambo and still hear the music and take in the atmosphere. In season there is a minimum charge to sit in Cafe Del Mar.

Its a great place to sit and watch the sunset, nice staff, good music, but its so over priced!!

One of those must-do places! The sunset is beautiful. Sit there enjoying tapas and some sangria! Perfect for people watching!
