Cable Gains did not show up for our appointment to...

Cable Gains did not show up for our appointment today. Last time they were supposed to come, it was 9 p.m. and they still had not showed up. Suddenlink is the absolute worst provider I have ever seen! If they don't want to service Enid, OK, then they need to get out and take Cable Gains with them.

Apparently 30mph on a curvy backroad covered in snow and ice was not fast enough for the Cable Gain service truck yesterday in Joplin since they felt the need to pass me while we were going uphill and they couldn't even see if traffic was approaching over the peak. They were fishtailing at the stop sign so I know they know road conditions were poor. I doubt there is a cable services emergency at 6pm on a Sunday worth risking lives over.

From my experience, and the others I've read since looking this company up, it is obvious this company needs to get a handle on their drivers before they get someone killed.

My wife works from home, after being without Sudden Link internet for 10 days and going thru hrs. of on phone tech support and a Sudden Link tech on-site service call still NO RESULT! Cable Gain tech Austin L. arrived on a Sunday morning and fixed our internet services in 20 mins...Austin is a credit to his company! Thanks Austin for saving my wife's job!

Our technician Brandon (tech# 23023) was awesome!! He showed up with a really good attitude, in our stressful situation, and he arrived on time! He managed to find the issue and fixed our problem. I felt the service was professional, quick, and efficient.. Thanks!!

Their technicians are largely unqualified and inept overall. They are just into plugging in meters and not seeking the real source of a problem. They wantonly replace various equipment in an ill conceived notion that if they replace enough parts, the problem will resolve itself. Suddenlink/Altice really needs to rethink using them as a contractor, bunch of clowns.

They don t train you right. Expect you to know everything right off the bat wouldn t go back. Also throw you out onto the field by yourself and expect you to get everything and know everything having to call to ask questions and they get mad not a great company

There was a young man named Devin and he was willing to do his job unlike 4 other technicians who came here, one of them who reported with suddenlink disrespect me in my house, his attitude was not exemplary and he was accompanied by a student in training which will learn what his coach does on the field. Mr Devin, unlike these other 4 technicians, was kind, respectful, took his time to test, listen, and ask questions regarding the internet service. Although sudderlink is still investigating the reason for the problem, I do not want to overlook the good exemplary positive attitude towards work and good service of this young technician. If there were more technicians with this exemplary attitude and not mediocre like the 4 previous technicians, this company would be excellent. Thank you Devin!

I wish I had gotten the technicians name, but cable gain came out to do work for Suddenlink. The technician who can out worked to establish a new connection (which involved laying ~100 ft of cable. Once the lines were laid they met Suddenlink's specifications, but my speeds weren't quite the best. So the following day, while he was off the clock, he came and ran another thicker cable to try to improve the speeds.

This is who suddenlink has contracted in our area and they NEVER show up when scheduled. We're expected to wait all day for them to never show. It is 8:12pm here now and still....no one!!! They were scheduled to be here between 2 and 5pm. If I could give zero stars I would. Sincerely wish Suddenlink would just fire them already. This is not the first time this has happened. At least their technicians before they decided to go with this poor excuse for a company actually showed up when they were supposed to.
