Great fun for the kids and adult beverages for the grownups
The farm is very small, the strawberries are almost picked over by afternoon in the day it opened for public. But, the children play area is good.
Expensive, and not open long enough.
We were told at 5:33 we weren't allowed to do the curb maze because it might take too long, and at 6:00pm sharp, we were in the middle of throwing a football (ball in hand), and were told they were closed, not even a "last throw please, were about to close". Staffed by teenagers...
Our favorite Fall Family Fun Farm so far! The only downside was that the corn maze is NOT stroller friendly like others and it's a good thing we forgot ours....it doesn't take too long to get through the maze but remember to bring a wrap/carrier or have an extra set of hands for tired toddlers. There was plenty to do and see! Would definitely recommend the Fun House for ages 8+......we asked the employee working the Fun House if it was appropriate for our group of toddlers and she said "Yes" so we proceeded. Needless to say it wasn't but we still had fun.
The Haunted Farm was amazing. Well worth the money. I was surprised at the number of high school students. We were completely out of place. There is a dropoff for parents to let off their kids. The only suggestion I would have would be for there to be security. With that number of people, it seems like a good idea.
We had fun. A lot of activities. We was there 4 hours and child didn't wanna go home)
Unbelievable place, so much to see and do. Kids can spend hours. I loved it a lot.
I'm completely satisfied and amazed at how beautiful and delicious the strawberries are every time I visit.
Great place to spend time with kids, but couples with no kids not too much things to do.. other than pumpkin patch or hayrides.
3rd year for us and another wonderful family day out!! Highly recommend Phillips Farm!
My family enjoyed the activities at the farm. The are was clean and spacious.
I want to say I respect this location and what they have built. I think it is family fun, festive, and a good time but during this pandemic I think there are some very very concerning things happening.
1. Multiple unmasked kids together with little ways to sanitize. Multiple adults just roaming without a mask and little care for anyone else.
2. No line structures or flow of person through activities like pre picked pumpkins.
3. Not following regulation for state mandated rule to only fulfill 30% capacity. In fact two employees told me tickets were sold out for all the activities (hay ride & corn maze) and were beyond capacity for the whole space.
4. They are cash only. So hundreds of people were exchanging cash when the rest of wake county is literally trying to avoid the exchange of germs.
5. Their website and tickets gave no info as to what they were for. The whole place is no admission unless you get the ticket which I guess gets you on the hay ride and in the corn maze. Everything else cost cash when you get there.
6. There was no regulation of adults taking alcohol into the other side of the park. There are signs but essentially this whole business is not enforcing anything.
7. Employees at concession stands where instructing guest to go to the ticket booth to get change because they didn't have any. They could have easily sent an employee to bring change but instead they sent every person in line away.
8. I do not appreciate who ever manages their social media. I pointed some of these issues out online and they proceeded to passively aggressively "like" my concerns but say nothing. After I proceeded to point out that I am a member of this community that is concerned they unliked my post. It was neither professional nor admirable.
The rest of Wake County businesses are respecting and upholding their establishments to the standard that has been set. I find it to be very concerning for the health of this community and just generally for the respect of other hard working businesses going above and beyond. Event planners, nurses, wait staffs, owners, cooks, custodians, and more are working really hard in this community. I will not return here under any circumstances.
My response to you re follow up:
I see you only skimmed on the non important issues. If you are okay with every customer going to get ones because your employees don t want to, that s your choice. I think you have an opportunity to improve your guest relations and the overall structure of your event. If you don t want to acknowledge that you are over capacity that is also your choice. Under the circumstances of this year I still feel the structure, safety, and cleanliness during Covid is being overlooked. Family fun should be a second priority right now..
I included 2 pictures one of the NC State laws right now and 2 of what information your website provided when you click on tickets to show there is very little information.
Friendly, helpful, courteous and very pleasant to deal with.. Thank you for our Christmas tree!
Beautiful tree, Heath was a huge help. Delivered and set up for us. Thank you!!
They have very efficient drive thru system in place for buying strawberries. They offered to place them right in my vehicle to lessen contact. I know they offer for you to pay over the phone if you want no contact at all during these crazy times. The berries are delicious! This picture is only about half of what they originally gave me, the basket was FULL at first!
We go here every year for their corn maze and halloween stuff for the kids. It is a full day of fun that they always talk about.
Awesome place to go. Kids loved it. Specially the haunted house
Went in the morning and it's a bummer that they only accept cash but overall a good place to go spend the day!
Kids love it here, one of the only farms left in the area.
Kids loved this place for the fall festival. We couldn't get them out of the corn pit. Bounce houses, swings, peddle powered carts, and many other activities kept everyone going. Worth a trip for the day.
Great corn maze and tons of activities for the kids. Worth the price of admission.
We went to multiple tree lots this until we ended our day at Phillips. I have to say that this year I was was quite shocked with the lack of inventory and the huge price increase over last year, but to my pleasant surprise, Phillips had the cream of the crop for MUCH cheaper than anywhere else! We were looking for larger trees and they had many and they were gorgeous. Thanks Phillips for never disappointing! I m in Holly Springs, so I didn t want to venture so far, but I will save the time and make a b-line for you next time! Best quality!!
